Odyssey is a fantastic game but it's not really blowing the pants off of the audience and industry like BOTW did from its first gameplay demo.

Odyssey was great, it's just it was up against BOTW. That's not easy competition. Odyssey fulfilled all expectations. BOTW exceeded them.
These Awards were fair. Next year, I'd love it if everyone on Facepunch could stop saying cheap zingers like "X is gonna win because they're a bunch of sellouts" but I know I'm dreaming. I feel that every game more or less deserved its Award, not everything in the game industry has to be corrupted as fuck.

Overwatch winning Best Ongoing Game really felt like a low blow considering more deserving games like Warframe's amazing long time support and Siege's rise since launch
