Kinda confused about the orchestration they did for Overwatch. Their music is kinda... boring. Not terrible, just generic and forgettable. There's this British radio station, Classic FM, and they have a show on Saturdays for video game music. They played music for like every game on the best music nomination list because it was legit good music. But they never mentioned Overwatch because it's boring. The music they played for it tonight was boring as hell. Also, who the hell was the first chair of that? I couldn't identify them. I think it was either the lady with the Portal cello or the redheaded violinist but I don't know.

Couple feelings about the show I liked it when Cuphead won multiple times I liked it when Zelda won multiple times I liked Soul Calibur 6 I liked Bayo 3 I liked Death Stranding but that was the weirdest but most interesting trailer yet I would want a TV show with Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima I liked bootleg Tommy Wiseau giving the finger in my face I liked Media Molecule's new game trailer I don't know why Skyrim and Overwatch keep coming to interrupt the game awards I liked Link's motorbike I liked every game of the year nominee aside from PUBG

i LOVE cuphead and i think it absolutely deserved best art direction a thousand times over. but i dont think it deserved any award in relation to being indie, because cuphead stopped being indie as soon as microsoft started backing it. its honestly a slap in the face to the other games who didn't have the privilege, games that were actually independently developed.
