Also Black Isles is not working with obsidian, but Obsidian was in fact founded by Black Isles Studios Feargus Urquhart, who left Interplay with a bunch of his teammates to make their own company in 2003. The New Vegas core team consists of Chris Avellone (Fallout 2 Designer, and now Obsidian's chief creative officer), Josh Sawyer, who designed Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, and Van Buren (which was the codename of Interplays canceled version of Fallout 3) who is now New Vegas' project lead, and Fallout 1 and 2 concept artist Brian Menzie. (All info was taken from PC Gamer April 2010 issue pages 54 and 57)
