They probably don't care since 3D printers are so expensive right now that it's impractical
Get someone to print out a 3d printer for you.
I'd 3D copy my face.
Chuck Norris prints in 4D
First of all, shut up.
Second of all, no.
That's incredible. Time for some space exploration up in this bitch.
Soon we'll be able to actually download a car.

Someone should challenge them with this.
Part at a time, of course.
I'm going to have access to 3D printers in September :D
Don't start printing Toothless's.
My school has one of these, yay
Now we can make even better dragon dildos. :v:
First you need to get a 3D model of it and where do you think you could get that?
And i think that you wouldn't want to shove that kinda of material into your ass.
Small scale 3D model of HL2 Jalopy could be pretty nice.
I'm going to have access to 3D printers in September :D
Could you print the parts for a 3d printer for me?
Can you print me a fleshlight?
It'll be hard to do, but it will be coming.
cloning technology
or mannequin technology I don't know
I've worked with a 3D printer before for school. They're great, but jesus christ they're slow. This one is far more advanced than the one I used.

so has someone printed their ass on it yet
um guys you do realize they didn't print the same wrench they scanned/or they heavily modified it
um guys you do realize they didn't print the same wrench they scanned/or they heavily modified it
Well that makes printing a compeltely functional tool far less impressive.
think about scanning your ass. Suddenly you have a ass sculpture out of a printer.
I don't get how it sees the worm gear axis when it's covered by the other parts of the wrench
how lucky are we to live in this time? we can fucking print real life 3D things now
In the future they'll say the exact same when they can print in 4D :v:
The MakerBot's printing is horrid compared to the one in the video.
Can you 3d print, a 3d printer?
Can you 3d print, a 3d printer?
Yes

In my opinion, the coolest things about 3D printers is that they can print upgrades for themselves.

I know for a fact that there's at least one facepuncher with one of these. (I'm not sure with the exact model, but it's from that website)
It'd be cool if we could print functional weapons, we'd just need functional bullets, though that would need a different material (I think?)
It'd be cool if we could print functional weapons, we'd just need functional bullets, though that would need a different material (I think?)
Just print a fully loaded weapon.
Just print a fully loaded weapon.
I dont think they can paint spring tension though, but if you pull the slide back the first time yourself i should probably work.
I understand the concept of how they'd do most of it, until it gets to the moving parts. That blows my mind out of several oceans.
Besides the powder that forms the actual object there's supply powder that keeps everything in place and can be blown off after printing. This powder is between the moving parts.
I still love playing Legos and 3D printer is the last thing I need: to reproduce a needed piece and to make some special stuff!
3D print a 3D printer.

Bad-dragon.com. Please don't ask me how I know that.
Also, that's nothing
If the Chinese got a hold of this...
Mass producing would triple. Profit. :l
Cheap labor, increasing. Oh dear.
You will see those "Made In China" labels a lot more often once this kind of printer arrives there. Throw the McDonald's toys in there. Just a million of those printers. Ohmygawd...
