Imagine you arent a very technically aware person and the one email address you use is suddenly getting spammed by a combination of hundreds of 10 year old memers and thousands of angry feminists. It would quickly become unusable and you'd need to change addresses, for someone who doesnt really know what they;re doing it would be extremely annoying.
