Naah, he's white, they'll adore him over here - if he learns Hindi he might just be the next Tom Alters. Hell, we have a former porn star, Sunny Leone, doing mainstream Bollywood movies here now and while she gets some shade for it, she gives zero fucks and is doing great. Besides, a whole generation of kids here, including me, grew up watching him in the Mummy and we don't give a fuck about his personal circumstances so if he gets a cheesy role in a decent film, why not?
If they're still shooting Robot 2.0 I'de love to see in in a cameo role
If there still shooting Robot 2.0 I'de love to see in in a cameo role
Naah, that movie's done - It's got Amy Jackson in it. If they're going to have in a movie, it's likely going to be typecast into the following roles: a) "Clueless comedic relief white tourist guy in Goa/holiday destination/wherever the fuck they choose to have a song-and-dance sequence in their movie" b) "Stern/Compassionate British officer-type person" in whatever feel-good period piece movie some coke-addled director decides to make, because making a film set during the British Raj makes casting villains a walk in the park. c) White man love interest in some Indian indie movie that will proceed to use the cliched "stories of complex relationships in a metro city" shtick, thus appealing to middle-aged Indian women who want to act out their "what's it like with a white guy?" fantasies. Other than that, maybe a random appearance on some awards show where he gets to tell everyone about how much he loves India, while the audience is duly flattered by his appreciation, because, you know, a white foreigner told them that so it must be true.
