so they led with mob and then pulled the bait and switch on the audience with this fanservice trash
Do elaborate.
the only anime on the list I saw in full.
It's an anime where the protagonist is a flying witch loli in a world with magic *goes to throw it into the trash*
However, it's set in a world war 1 period and your main character is a cutthroat anti hero.
The first episode doesn't show her origins, except to point out she'll kill you if you get in her way even if you're a disobeying subordinate.
The second episode sets up her origin story where
[sp]she is the reincarnation of a modern Japanese salaryman killed by someone he laid off. Before he dies he is met by a being calling itself as god. He doesn't believe it's god as such a being could not suck so bad at their job. So god creates a game where if his next incarnation survives of natural causes or accepts itself as truly god, they get to continually be incarnated. However, if he dies without faith, he will cease to exist. He continues to have his memories intact for his next incarnation, but her actions put her further and further into danger.[/sp]
If you enjoy the main character being 'evil' to survive and loving it, you might like it.

He called Maid Dragon garbage but you're defending Gab Drop of all things?
I'm mad I missed Mob. Now I gotta wait til the 31st to watch it with chat.

I'd be surprised if they did that, it'd be shooting themselves in the foot.

kyo ani (The company that made that anime) best anime company that isnt trigger
one of the few anime companies i seen that take time to properly animate characters n stuff really well and their profit margins show that people treat them nice in response
theres a few youtube videos that go indepth about it (sort of spoilers for Hibike euphonium , which is in the marathon tomorrow)

Their animation is nice, but they also pump out a lot of mediocre stories. But when they hit the story just right, BOY they hit hard.

Kyoani's got really good business practices, they actually treat their animators like human beings with a decent salary and hours and do most of their stuff in-house rather than the usual overworked freelancers, which combined with good time management means they get really high animation quality for pretty much the same amount of money as other studios. Other studios could learn from them since it seems to get them results. They could stand to leave their safe space more often though. Maid Dragon is the first show they've ever made that doesn't focus on high schooler/school-age protagonists.
Violet Evergarden looks like it's going to have insane production values when it comes out next year.

they're not doing vods for copyrighted content like power rangers or these anime shows.

still waiting on haruhi season 3 and still havent touched the light novels or manga (past season 2) yet
pls kyo ani deliver me to promised land already please thanks

On top of that there are myriad ways to watch these shows legally because of how widespread they are. Sure, they'll cost you some bucks, but supporting the industry is important.
they did clips for power rangers but for some reason they don't for anime
rude
probably an unpopular opinion but eupho is pretty bad

I have seen the show, I wasn't asking for a plot synopsis.

its just k-on redux with lesbians instead of tea and brass instead of guitar
its just k-on redux with lesbians instead of tea and brass instead of guitar
is there any actual connection or are you talking out of your ass because one of them is a music-themed slice of life comedy and the other is a drama about a brass band
is there any actual connection or are you talking out of your ass because one of them is a music-themed slice of life comedy and the other is a drama about a brass band
Is a brass band also not music-themed?
Is a brass band also not music-themed?
the difference here is k-on is music themed as in it has stuff about music in it but it's not actually about music or playing music, at least from what i've seen of it
and if "high school girls and music" is all it takes to make a show "k-on redux" then i guess 5% of all anime is just k-on rip-offs
its just k-on redux with lesbians instead of tea and brass instead of guitar
Those two shows are not even remotely similar besides having girls and music in them.

a little bit of both
they're both music themed shows about cute girls doing cute things. the drama element of eupho is just a shoehorned twist

lots of anime about things other than high school girls and music is k-on redux. sora no woto being a prominent example
its just k-on redux with lesbians instead of tea and brass instead of guitar
it's okay, everyone has a right to have a terrible opinion

You have absolutely zero idea what you're talking about.

So what you're saying is that you haven't watched Euphonium and you have at best looked at a poster of Sora no Woto at some point in your life, but you feel the need to give us your input on the shows anyway.

You're unlikely to ever get it, seeing as Kadokawa is in charge of the IP, and the novels have been on hiatus for years (admittedly, the story does feel properly closed so it's not like there's a cliffhanger or anything), and Tanigawa isn't particularly active.
Full Metal Panic is getting an S4 after like 13 years, but that's because Gatoh has been working his ass off, is still an active writer and actually cares about his franchise.
Next Butre is going to tell us that Schindler's List and Space Jam are basically the same movie with a couple of changes.

Plus it jumped studios to Xebec, since Kyoani didn't seem to want to touch FMP again. It's even more of a miracle than the rest of Durarara getting adapted, and it took a new studio being created to get that doen.

Am I missing something or am I just tired
remember that PTSD subplot in k-on? can't believe sora no woto ripped that off 1:1

I remember how they had a spider-tank in the basement in K-On, it was very moe.
