I guess this is the ASMR thread now. I actually really like talking videos because they let me focus when I'm going to sleep so my mind isn't going crazy and I can actually fall asleep faster. 99% of roleplay ASMR videos suck though because the awkwardness of the acting is really distracting, ramble videos or repeating words on a list are my jam though.
This is my favorite ASMR video right here. I find heavy accents or languages I don't understand very relaxing for some reason.

Actually, should I make an ASMR thread? Would you guys post in it?

This is real ASMR.
ASMR works for me, especially if it gets particularly creative and isn't just meant to be wank material.
But holy goddamn hell i will never touch "food eating sounds" stuff. I have a god awfully low tolerance of the sounds of people eating things, so videos made in that regard and are supposed to be "relaxing" would be like dragging nails across chalkboard for me.

You know you can replicate this by playing Drive in your living room after blowing out your speakers, right?

Seriously, man, don't waste your life giving this lame-o views for something you can get freely and adequately from the comfort of your couch
I usually just like the ASMR videos without any talking.
I really dislike the sort of surreal, creepy roleplay of guys like Ephemeral Rift, but it's always what people recommend as "good ASMR." It's great production quality, but a lot of the time it's not as relaxing as it should be because he's pretending you're an android or an anthropomorphic fruit or something.
Other than the Finnish tongue-twisters one above, which I've listened to like 30 times, I really enjoy a few other more casual and personable ones, made by either men or women. I don't enjoy any really out-there roleplays, and I just enjoy personable people making nice sounds. I don't want to be Mr. Watermelon getting an inspection from a fish man, I just want some nice person with a relaxing presence basically giving me a massage through the internet. This one's probably my favorite of all time - even though it calls itself a "roleplay," it barely counts as one compared to the weird shit that ER and pseudo-asmr-camgirls make.
