I wrote,
Why would you pay an extra thousand dollars for an apple computer that has the same hardware specs as a windows computer? Mac OSX is a good operating system but the outragious overprice of hardware isn't exactly that whole "ba-yNg fohr youhr buh-uck" you seem to enjoy talking about. Also why the fuck would you want an i7 in a mac computer? LOLS I GET 40 FRAMES PER SECOND IN PHOTOSHOP LOLS
To which he replied,
what? Are you a fucking idiot? Why do I need an i7 in a imac? Why do pc gamers need i7's in gaming rigs, lol, when games dont use over 2 cores most the time except for a few like crisis. Im not sure if you realize it but i post a lot of videos so that means i record and encode a lot fo videos. I have 2 partner channels and a web site and a blog site. If you cant understand why i can use an i7 and a pc gamer does then your just a fucking noob kid. Wow i can max a 22" display LOLS. Bang for your buck? HA is that why gamers spend 1500-2000 dollars on gaming rigs instead of getting a PS3/xbox, 15 games and a 42" HD TV? Any gamer worth ANYTHING wont be gaming on a sub 1000 dollar computer. So stop talking out your ass and shut the fuck up because your talking like a big noob.
Yeah he's either a troll or stupid as hell.
Well, first off, his little annotation stating that "All Xboxes are Apple consoles" is complete bullshit, as Apple moved over to Intel based processors for better compatibility, and to allow for the ability of installing Windows on an iMac. Secondly, he does bring up a valid point that more people are going to start playing on consoles like the Xbox and PS3, however when he states that more and more PC gamers are going to be using their GPUs as processing power, it shows he has no clue what the hell he's talking about. The processing power and speed have nothing to do with the GPU, which only processes 3D/2D images for display, and everything to do with the Processor and the RAM. You can have an awesome "Work" computer with barely any Graphics processing power. In short, this guy is a Mac Fanboy, and needs to learn his stuff before making stupid reasoning.
Actually GPUs can do some non gaming things pretty well. They can accelerate video playback, and offload that work from the CPU. They can kind of do some other things that are massively parallel; like Folding@Home. There aren't that many practical use cases for parallel computing at the moment, since it's really hard to do. But you could take a look at Nvidia's CUDA and OpenCL. There is more to computers than games and Photoshop. This guy does tons of FinalCut videos. Editing and compressing video needs a lot of CPU power. Have you ever looked at a CPU benchmark? Video editing usually gets tested more than games do for CPUs. There are also other CPU heavy applications like running a web server. IIRC, the Apache web server spawns a mini-thread for each user that connects to the server. So having 8 threads might be nice if you have lots of people connecting to your server.
people like this guy make me ashamed to be a Mac user...
Writing a complaint to the Youtube Partner Programme. This shit is going too far for him to still be earning money off of it [editline]08:37AM[/editline] Ughh, there's no way to complain. Flagged all of his videos as Spam > Misleading Text though :v:
the second one made me rage so FUCKING HARD at the end "To much money to play maxed on os10" BECAUSE MACS AREN'T MADE FOR FUCKING GAMES YOU FUCKING RETARD BLARRGHGHLARBLEGARBLE!
Why the hell did I even watch this? I knew beforehand it'd make me rage. Fucking fanboys.
Why the hell did I even watch this? I knew beforehand it'd make me rage. Fucking fanboys.
Nothing like a hot cup of rage to warm the soul.
Fffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-
Wow i want to stab him in the face furiously.
I sent him a message on youtube containing a build the match the basic Mac Pro which is $2500, The parts match the specifications or surpass them and my build came out at half the cost. Ill post his reply assuming he even reads and reply's.
So you get a free 40 inch screen when u buy a console and when u buy a computer, and then try and buy a 40 inch screen some fairy comes, beats the shit out of ya and takes the 40 inch screen? [editline]05:53PM[/editline] Told my friend about this fag Jeremiah zegt: it makes me wanna give him a facepunch right-away Djessey zegt: Yup he makes me wanne sell my computer, Buy a ticket to redneckland and beat him to death with a spoon - Jeremiah zegt: a spoon? im gonna lock him up and let the walls go at him slowly at a rate of 0.00005m/s
I wrote, To which he replied, Yeah he's either a troll or stupid as hell.
He seems to have this idea in his head that more expensive always = better. He says any computer under 1000 is sub-par? No, if it's a good computer, that just means the guy who built it is smart. I can max out everything except Crysis (which comes close) with a computer I built for around 1000, I didn't need to spend 2500 to 5000 like this guy seems to think I need to.
You don't judge a GPU by how much VRAM it has. Never. Ever.
guys leave him alone he is a professional gaymur
I simply left him with some reasoned responses. #12 How can you complain that spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on a car is a better hobby then spending a few hundred pounds on a pc? but say that you respect the person for spending money on the car, despite it having* no practical application outside of a racetrack? TheGMaster111 (3 minutes ago) 0 Reply | Remove #11 if you truly think that a 128mb gpu and a 1024mb gpu do not make as much difference as a cpu, consider this: A hi-res texture in a game like crysis is 4mb. The information about shaders is 7mb. To load a 4mb grass texture, with shaders on the grass, and geometry, and then to put a human character in this spot, requires approximately 40mb. Now this can be buggered about with,* as is done in games like gta iv, but you simply cannot load as much on screen at once. This is why you get "pop in" TheGMaster111 (6 minutes ago) 0 Reply | Remove #5 You can't run your 42 inch display without a GPU. #6 a £2500 IMAC can with the specs you described can be built for £500, easily, and it IS more bang for your buck. #7 a 128mb GPU compared to a 1024mb GPU is the difference between a PS1 and a PS3. #8 The term "It's fast" means "It's powerful enough to render at a quick speed. #9 Consoles are becoming more and more like PCs, ironically. #10 once more THERE IS NO REASON you cannot PLAY ON YOUR PC IN YOUR LIVING ROOM!* TheGMaster111 (11 minutes ago) 0 Reply | Remove First of all: You can hook your 42 inch tv to a pc just as well as a mac #2 a £200 GPU in a pc gives you far better graphics than a £1500 mac #3 Macs are just as vulnerable as PCs, so don't give that bullshit. #4 There's nothing to stop you playing on your pc in the living room, you don't have to huddle up in a small room as you put it. I personally have great fun playing a game of* TF2 with some buddies with a wireless keyboard and mouse. [editline]06:24PM[/editline]
I sent him a message on youtube containing a build the match the basic Mac Pro which is $2500, The parts match the specifications or surpass them and my build came out at half the cost. Ill post his reply assuming he even reads and reply's.
He'll probably say something along the lines of: "It's running vista/windows 7/xp, so it won't be able to harness the power as effectively as a mac would"
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY RETARDS IN THE WORLD! c
what the hell, he talked about pc like it would only be meant to play games, ofcourse something that can do 100 times more stuff than a ps3 will cost more.
"Macs can play any PC game out there" Mac is a PC...PC stands for personal computer. And how many games are being made for the Mac now a days anyways? Aren't most games made for Windows?
I posted this on his youtube:
I posted this on his youtube:
what is this website? Newegg.com?
I posted this on his youtube:
I have that ram :3
WOAH HOLY FUCK GUYS THE MAC IS BRIGHTER! Honestly who gives a fuck? I respect Macs, but this kid is fucking stupid. His user name is APPLE SOLDIER for christs sake!
I think that microphone is too big for him.
I think he's used to those big things near his face [editline]12:18PM[/editline] If this dumbass is using 32 gigabytes of RAM, he would most likely be working for a huge company rendering gigantic models in SolidWorks, in which case he would likely need a personal supercomputing chip like the nvidia tesla to keep rendering times under 2 days, not a consumer chip. But I guess he figured the extra 31 gigs of RAM would run his beloved Apps faster. By the way, these workstations he talks about generally run Windows, so I guess all these "professionals" he works with own "piece of shit computers".
Did he say Communists suck?
