I just realized that Ezra is literally Aladdin. Just look at him, and his character. A magical space genie even comes to help him.
i instantly thought "alladin" the moment i saw him and the rest of the video just kept confirming that this is alladin as a star wars rebel
Eh, I was hoping it was going to be just a bunch of rebels fighting and jedi would become these "myths" and legends that they become in the original trilogy and when one does show up its this huge event. Either with a badass jedi that dominates everything and makes the rebel look like their children or a bitter person that is everything a jedi is not supposed to be and lost everything in the purge.
Well, they DID say this kid didn't know he was using the Force, exactly, so perhaps at some point a badass Jedi WILL show up, and become something of a teacher to him. Regardless, I still really don't like his character. Just focusing on normal rebels would've been great. Besides, I'm willing to bet said Jedi appears in the first/second episode and goes on to train Ezra. As well as Kanan and Ezra there's a female Mandalorian, a droid and an alien based on Chewbacca's original design.
To be honest Sraw Wars doesn't have much to offer if we exclude the jedi, hence why we get the jedi every time. I mean the whole universe rotates around the fucking jedi. A non-force driven story would be cool, but someone needs to do a really good job to fill the gap that appears when we remove the force as force creates the mental conflicts and philosophy that define the plot and creates all the symbols. I think I want a jedi-driven star wars. Just not cartoonish, childish or anything. Star Wars is a damn fairy tale for kids as it is, it needs a more realistic rework. Add some gray to the good vs bad setting and it will blast. It won't be the star wars as we know it though, so I don't expect everyone to agree with me. [editline]16th February 2014[/editline] But fuck this kid seriously [editline]16th February 2014[/editline] Street smart? What kind of thing is that? Give me some Kyle Katarn style character that actually has some fucking balls jesus christ
Kyle Katarn's character can be summed up with the phrase "street smart" so theres that
