wtf is with the extra holographic sight attached to the side of the rifle where the ejection port is. how retarded
So you can still be more viable for close quarters fighting. I sure as hell wouldn't want to try aiming down an acog or higher powered optic when someone is like 20 feet away from me.
Its sort of like this:

Except you just have to shift your grip rather than flip down the acog. Although in the scene he uses both to be cool so whatever.

Actually, that's an ACOG scope with the ironsights on the side so you can switch between. It's more viable than you'd think, there was a discussion on it in some thread about an AK-47 comically designed for a zombie apocalypse.

Oh so they actually do that, interesting.
Yes. But don't be fooled by that, there's no reason to turn your pistol sideways. Unless you're planning on going total baller-assassin status and catching the casing as it comes out of the pistol.
Regardless of how the actual game is going to be, those trailers were rad.
Well at least they're using Nero rather than Skrillex now.

One of the first lines in the trailer: "I never wanted this."

I'm a bit worried that there's not going to be much of a co-op player base on the pc though. I went to four or five stores today and all of them either never got any pc copies or got like one or two. Hell, I went to an EB games and they received fewer pc copies than there were people who preordered the game.
probably because they're going the digital route and selling it on steam/origin?
Having played and loved the Xbox demo, this'd be an insta-buy for me if it was on Steam. Too bad it isn't.
So, is the game any good?
