the book itself is about 950 pages long so 164 minute runtime might not be enough.
oh my god it's like an action movie with a plot
Is that a Zeta Cocoun-X is spot there? :v:
Holy shit. The most moving trailer i've seen in a while.
Seriously? It looked pretty awful. The story looks way too cluttered and in depth, way too much going on for it's own good. Also, Matrix Revolutions.
And 3 directors. Too many cooks spoil the broth, in every sense of the phrase. It looks like a clusterfuck catastrophe.
really looks like they're trying to do too much at once
and 3 directors? holy shit
HOLY SHIT TOM HANKS

That's the feeling I get too. It jumps between ancient history, present, somewhere in the 2nd millennium, and the future? If it's going to fit into 160 minutes, it's going to have a fucked up pacing.
Nothing I hate more in movies than fucked up pacing with the scenes randomly cutting off and jumping forward by too much and leaving you with the feeling you missed something.
I hope they have some sort of directors cut where they didn't have to cut shit down for Warner.
Looks like the sort of film you can take a girl to see and stay awake, will give it a go.
Massive cluster of 'what' and 'cool' but not very coherent at all. If they're going to try and adapt a massive book into film why not do it in several instead of cramming too much information into one. This trailer just baffled me and seemed like a kind of cheap ploy to hook in people with visuals and a convoluted romance plot?
It seems pretty interesting, one scene in particular I thought "cool" was when the woman drove off the bridge
This reminds me of "The Fountain". Like, a lot.
If its anything like the book you guys are in for a great movie.
That was a pretty bad trailer in my opinion, a load of action and romance while telling me absolutely nothing about what the film is about.
Its funny how the greatest complain against recent trailers is that they give the plot away.
I think this got it just right. You're too used to being spoon fed.

I'm reading the book right now and its 283 pages.
what are you on about.
Guys you need to watch it again, they give away a lot of stuff in the first 15 seconds.

Fuck guys, rusty doesn't like it. We're never going to hear the end of it now.
