Being able to make such an amazing Pie without sight is just incredibly hard to imagine to me. I'm going to have to see this episode.
Oh my god was not prepared eyes
Would've be funny that during the tasting part he'd go on the opposite and scream "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, TASTES LIKE THE ARSE OF A MANGY DOG IN THE SLUMS OF BANGKOK"

Was hoping he'd be like,
"You hear that, nice and crispy? Well and cooked?
WELL IT'S FUCKING RAW YOU DONKEY FUCKING RAW. DO ME A FAVOUR AND FUCK OFF. SHUT. IT. DOWN. GET OUT."
???
skits that make gordon seem like a monster are stupid as hell. gordon is a sweetheart and he gets mad when he needs to get mad because it makes good tv and the people he has to deal with are thick as shit and in their profession if they serve dodgy food they can potentially kill somebody. that is not to be fucked around with, so when someone is careless and arrogant he rightfully has a go at them because they have a responsibility to be the best they can. like that mitchell and web skit. as much as i like those guys, that was dumb as heck.

like the saying goes, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
i've always seen gordon as a bastard with a heart of gold.
he's a really nice guy deep down but his main tool is the toughest of love out there.
this video was amazing. i love you ram <3

also he has a bunch of fucked up issues, that and he had a scottish upbringing.
his story really is amazing. he's been around multiple times for things to come crashing down upon him leaving him only to rebuild.
Tempted to do a voice over on this but i think that would be a little to rude.
Anyway there is also this show where he cooks with other celebrities/people, you can see his brightest side in that show.

You call yourself a Chef Ramsey? You haven't had a single drink!

To be fair the stereotype is that most professional chefs see themselves as God's gift to humanity.
i cried
Gordon Ramsey just seems to be incredibly passionate about what he does. Which in all honesty is a very good thing. You could tell that encouragement came from the heart, and it seems like that cook did extremely well despite her own doubts
I REFUSE TO HAVE FEELINGS AT 1:37 IN THE MORNING
He's just being nice because she's blind.
I guess you're blind too, that pie looked nice as fuck
Oh man didn't know Masterchef was in other countries too.
Aside from the fact that gordon was being a total winner. That pie looks fucking delicious. I have troubles putting into words how bad I would like to eat that pie.
He's just being nice because she's blind.
DO YOU HEAR THAT? Do you hear how flaky that crust is when he runs his knife over it?
when he lifted the pie up to check the base i thought he was raising it to the heavens
There's a gentleman behind all that shouting and swearing.
There's a gentleman behind all that; shouting and swearing.
Of course one of the "tough guys" has to roll his eyes halfway through the video like a huge doucher lol
I was waiting for "but... it tastes like crap and what is this! Look at it!". But it never came o.O
ahhh man just what I needed to cheer my day up
Right in the feels !
Now I'm waiting for that moment someone makes a terrible pie and ramsey just yells this pie is so soggy even a blind cook could do better !
I was expecting him after all that amazing credit to be like "EURGH IT'S TOO SWEET!" Or something like that.

i'd like to eat her pie.
seriously though the pie itself was fucking stunning. really you don't even have to put it into account she was blind the pie looked fucking georgous and incredibly tasty.
but she was blind and managed to cook a pie that to a person able to see is visually stunning.
this is why i love watching ram's shows or at least the ones he's in. i only just became a really big fan (i'd watch hells kitchen and kitchen nightmares once and a while before it all went on netflix). but the way gordon can bring people together and pull someone's head from deep inside their ass to a more correct position... it's just god damn heartwarming.
it's a strange thing to say but his shows are probably some of the best "feel good" shows i've ever watched. not only that but it's reality TV. sure sometimes things can go to utter shit but don't you just love it when ram comes back a month later and everything has changed wonderfully for the better?
funny how a show called kitchen nightmares (UK at least) has given me some of the best warm fuzzies in my life.
wow that was a tasty looking goddamn pie, i want a slice of it
At least there's no
THIS CHICKEN IS SO RAW THAT ITS STILL TRYING TO CROSS THE FUCKING ROAD

I wonder if being blind is somewhat of an advantage. Her olfactory senses could be heightened due to her disability; she might be more "in tune" with flavors and aromas than the average cook might be.
This really changes a lot about my thoughts on Ramsey, but, I didn't really think much about him, didn't watch his shows.

being blind may actually be an advantage. your sense of touch, sense of smell, sense of taste, it all goes to exceptional levels. that and being blind means she has to probably check everything much more thoroughly. hell even hearing could help, you could probably be able to tell if a pie was done just by listening to it as it cooked in the oven.

I'm watching an episode right now where he's trying to save an establishment that employs trouble makers as chefs.
he actually totally drops his guard and bears his soul to these two kids for a split second. saying that he's been in the fuckup position himself in his life and cooking saved him and it could save them etc.
hell's kitchen is probably what destroyed his reputation, well at least as a nice guy. because he really is a nice guy, he's made a fucking TV show out of basically saving people's livelyhood
Wow that pie actually looked like one of those pies you see that are made to look nice in commercials.
