Agreed, the original CT had a lot going on behind the scenes that he didn't even bother to gloss over. Didn't even mention the game has 8 different endings and that your decisions throughout the game determine who else lives and dies. I thought for sure he was going to expand on the car scene at least, since it leads to two alternate endings all on its own.
Hope he does the PS1 version at some point, the voice acting alone should be enough material to work with.

I don't think anyone has ever done a truly comprehensive review of the game in video format (truly it seems most of the reviews for this game on Youtube are by people that need some quality control in any case). I'm sure you could find written reviews that go into depth on it though.
This guy seems to have the best overview of the game that I've found and goes into more depth than Jon does, although it's without humor:
