I think he's saying that if it TOUCHED you, it would make a wound, but if it was HELD AGAINST you, it would cut through you.
I thought his pun was funny.

Try throwing a chainsaw at a tree.
Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Weapon.
So fucking stoopid...
Chainsaws cant cause alot of damage if it just hits you and is not held against your body.
That all depends on the chain and the RPM. If he got hit with it, he'd most definitely get a deep wound.
Something about how he speaks makes me immediately like him.

Uh, just so you know, a chainsaw kicked back on a friend of mine, he accidentally lost grip of it, and it "just hit" his forearm, cut through one of the bones and halfway through the other, so, yeah they will screw you up.
Hehe this dude is awesome
Fucking moron.
More like fucking visionary.
I've heard of guys getting their femoral arteries shredded open by the kickback of a chainsaw catching inside a log while cutting it, that's why most, if not all industrial loggers wear thick as fuck canvas or leather chaps.

Wrong. There is a possibility that a chainsaw can actually dig deeper into flesh with out being pressed down upon it. So depending on the circumstances, a chainsaw can actually cut through a human being with out anyone holding it.

There is actually someone from my home town who had a chainsaw bounce backwards and cut into him from his collarbone diagonally across his torso before someone could reach him and pull the chainsaw off of him. I guess he survived, but just barely.
depending on which side of the blade hit him, it could potentially pull into him or push itself away. If it's running moderately slow and has the course grabbing blades on it-

it would probably have the capacity to grab and yank off a good chunk o' flesh regardless of how long it connects with him.
American.
In Canada we tie axes to ropes and swing them at trees with jaw-dropping accuracy.
