Bet the crew was all like "Awww yea, easy day today."

No offense but there should be a drinking game for whenever I see a video of something being shot down and someone or a group of someones start shouting "ALLAH AKBAR!" take a shot.
Was it the same helicopter at the end? It looked like nothing had happened to it.
Same Helicopter.
Amazing how it was still flying and steering after taking a missile to the side. Fucking russian engineering man.
Oh wait
It actually blew up when it hit the ground.

So much for that
The chopter would have probably managed to achieve a succesfull crashland had the pilots been faster, the chopter started smoking and burning seemingly minute or so after getting hit. But I guess the pilots were wounded and that complicates things.
It is quite likely that the pilots could have survived that crash landing, but it's what happens afterwards that really counts. For example, during one of the Chechnyan wars, an Mi-26 went down, and a good few of the 126 passengers and crew survived. It was only when they found the doors were jammed shut, and the cabin filled with leaking fuel, that shit got real. Nearly the entire 126 crew and passengers were cremated when it went up. It didn't help that they were massively overloaded with passengers, the Mi-26 being designed to ideally take only 80 passengers.

Vehicle god mode. I do it in Dayz all the time man. You just need a good bypass :D
The crew was probably hunted down and killed after the crash landing tough
Some background on what nation the chopper was and whatnot would be great.
"allahu akbar" is not the equivalent to Oh my god, Holy shit, etc. I means God is great, I have no idea where you guys got that idea. It's used to show that what they are doing is out of a belief that their God would want.

It literally translates to that, but it's the cultural/social equivalent of "oh my god" or "holy shit".

Yeah, literally translated, but I'm pretty sure people don't actually mean for god to damn something whenever they say "God damn it"
Jesus, people bring this up every time it's heard in a video. It's just their equivalent of saying "holy shit" or showing profound disbelief.
So they scream out the name of their god to show "profound disbelief"... Seems fitting.

Have you never heard "Oh my god!" or "Jesus Christ!"
Some background on what nation the chopper was and whatnot would be great.
Most likely Syrian.

The literal translation of holy shit and oh my god don't actually make any sense so what's your point?
Looks like the missile killed the engine and the pilot had to autorotate
choppers don't always explode like in the movies.
There's a different video of a different helicopter being shot down, which fucking explodes into nothing in mid air after a few seconds

sometimes.
sometimes.
I think that one was leaking fuel or hydraulic liquid, you can see the vapor trailing off of the chopper after it was hit.
0:33 - "Allahu Akbar a little to the left" XD
I love how when the rocket hits it, they all start shouting histerically. Doesn't have to do with that they say "Allah Akbar" btw. I would've laughed if they said "Oh my God" too.

Now I really wonder what you think it means when people say "holy shit."
Now I really wonder what you think it means when people say "holy shit."
What do you think it means, bud?
when the helicopter got hit, they sounded like they just pulled off a quickscope in call of duty or something.

360 allahu no-explode
What do you think it means, bud?
According to that guy it means that we're acting out of a belief of what god's excrement's will is.
