because fedora people love that shit. listening to superior intellectual music from the generation before gives them a big boner. this generation's music is a sham, does anyone else remember when real music was made using real instruments? not this shitty autotuned commercial bullshit. rap is stupid and all of it is shitty, it's not even real music. good thing nigga rhymes with nigga lol am i right? swag is for boys, class is for men, peace
That's a hipster you just described.
i can imagine him singing over a jazz band, shit would be amazing
holy shit, he has a gorgeous voice, he should do a jazz album without autotune, that would be incredible
That's a hipster you just described.
hipsters listen to music from this generation that just sounds weird or is experimental/"experimental"
first music that comes to mind when people say "hipster" is Animal Collective, not Led Zeppelin
I remember hearing Ke$ha sing without autotune once too, and she had a pretty incredible normal singing voice as well.
I just don't understand.
If I recall, Ke$ha is a genius (as in, part-of-Mensa-genius) and just does her pop stuff because she fancies it.
Man, T-Pain should record a soul/R&B/jazz album, that would be amazing.
I would totally be up for buying a T-pain R&B album.
Trash lyrics but his voice is pretty nice

Well everyone can fuck off with their trends and stereotypes, I listen to zeppelin because they're a good band, not as a statement of intellect or superiority.
I know I sound salty but it sucks that actual good metal bands are being branded as 'euphoric' because a bunch of shut in kids apparently listen to them.

it would be if people like burnyhands didn't have to jump in and make completely unnecessarily snide comments about others music tastes.

lmao
if you haven't seen a fedora person I kindly invite you to my honors physics lectures at my uni
funny thing is most of them are not even that good in the class, most of the true prodigy types look like perfectly normal and socially capable people (in so far as engineering and physics majors can be as such :P)
everyone who likes things i dont like wears fedoras

But the lyrics are hella trashy? I have no problem with what people choose to listen to but I do have the right to voice my opinion about the music in question.
Good signing, awful lyrics. The lyrics actually worked when he had the autotune, but not without.
If I did come out as insulting people for liking this, then that wasn't my attention.
then that wasn't my attention.

terrible writting aimed at the lowest common denominator
hmm
hmm
Just because a song is written for mass appeal doesn't mean it's a bad song though. I just think that the writting for these songs just really overdo it and personally that turns me off.

I listen to swing music, and Ritchie Blackmore's folk albums.
