This is the most amazing story I've ever seen in my life.
It actually touched me :3:
I shed a manly tear. :crying:
That's pretty amazing, I bet scientists can understand autism better because of this. I wish I could feel what it's like to have autism, just for a little while.
Depends on the type of Autism.
Mine is Aspergers (or as people tend to pronounce it, Ass-burgers) and I guess it helps in the way that you've been brought up.
Some things are easy for you and some are hard.
An example;
I used to be great at maths and I loved it, I went into high school and suddenly hated maths and started to misunderstand parts I used to know very well.
Many people on Facepunch, and mostly in real life, think that when the word "Autism" is mentioned they think of physically or mentally retarded people. It's not all about physical or mental retardation.
I guess you could say that Autism plays a part in the "Mentally retarded" part of Autism, since it can depend on the behavior of your actions (your brain is the mentality of you).
People in different areas don't always act as "He's got Autism we must look after him and  all the time :3:", for me I actually hated having Autism (and I know everyone with Autism who is able to get people to know that would too) because I constantly got bullied, I even ended up with no friends for 2 to 3 years. Because of this I had no reason to go out, because when I had friends I went out to meet them. So if I have none, I start to go out less and less and get used to being a gamer more and more.
To be honest I wasn't much of a gaming person between 2002 to 2005, but those 3 years I had moved into a school called "Waterloo Primary". Every year got worse and worse, eventually (mid-2005 - early-mid 2008) leaving me with no-one.
For the person in the video she has people constantly caring for her because of the Autistic condition of hers (I'm not aware of which one it is since there are loads).
With mine, you can be smarter than Einstein but people can bring you down.
Sadly no-one can really help me since I'm not going to feel better after these horrible years of my life. I honestly feel like dying because I can't put up with this depression I suffered for 2/3 years of loneliness.
These are problems I've faced in the past;
-Years of bullying and nothing was helping (until my Year 6 teacher was...well, my teacher. Best damn teacher ever man. Mr. Truelove. What a name :v:)
-Got beaten up by people 8 years older than me (Me: Year 3, them: Year 11) and our Assistant Headteacher fucked up the investigation by telling the parents of the two guys who beat me up where I lived so the neighbourhood had to stay under police watch for a few years just in case.
-Getting harder each year to do Physical Education (inherited disease slowly, slowly fusing a few of my bones together making it hard to run for more than 1 and a half hours on/off)
-Getting insulted because I can't help but make random sounds sometimes (I've turned into a bit of a comedian amongst friends)
-Getting bit in the eye
-More stuff I'm starting to lose memory of (but will be remembered now and then).
Now, I don't know why this sparked off a big comment but oh well :v:
If Autism is mentioned do not think ":downs:" instantly, that may not be the case. :downs: syndrome is just a part of the Autistic Spectrum, it is not the Autism itself.
And probably irrelevant but in 2006 in a competition to build a beach-defense thing out of paper, wood, glue, hot glue (dont know why this was here, was too long ago to remember) some bastard got the hot glue gun I was using and fucking poured it all over my left and right hands, dripping with hot glue my hands felt like they were burning for a week. My hands are pretty big now, and I assume that they are because of this incident. The only theory I can think of is that the hot-glued hands had swollen up and then gone back down, somehow making a bigger hand.
26 centimetres from tip of Thumb to little finger on left hand, and 25 centimeters on right. Roughly the same from wrist to tip of middle finger.
Fun fact; my little finger is indeed bigger than most peoples middle finger.
Yes I have been tortured, and if I snap I will destroy one part of your body in one hit. This has happened :frown:.
Someone kept pissing me off, and one day I wasn't in the mood, this guy decides to kick some water at me, he does so, I turn around and punch his nose. Apparently I fractured it :tinfoil:
Bullying -> Making your life worse every year :(
"FUCKING WALL OF TEXT OH GOD WHAT"

You get a heart.
I didn't see the point in quoting it, replacing the text with "Big wall of text" and having a blank post if it's right above you with no response. :v:?
she has one of the best dads ever.

Odd, I seem to have the same thing with my ribs hurting after I run a bit. (They literally feel displaced). My knees ache easily too. The crux of this being that I have obsessive compulsive disorder so my mental health is also questionable to some extent (but I guess that became evident after my first few posts).
The amount of intelligence at the age of thirteen to say that: Human kind is oblivious to things, even if they are to be around them for hundreds of years. That takes a kind of intelligence that you do not find in many people.
I started reading A Series of Unfortunate Events when I was in Year 5 / 2005
I understood every word and yet other people couldn't even spell "Awesome" :saddowns:
Oh god Black-Ice is like my clone or something.
Except the bullying parts.
>expresses profound intelligence
>"I just want to be like every other kid."

>lol we don't have green text here
>lol we don't have green text here
I'm aware of that.
But as for this video, while it may be an amazing transition from what was previously thought of her level of intelligence, to what they now know her level of intelligence is at, you can hardly call her current level of intelligence profound.
An amazing shift for one who suffers from Autism however.
This is amazing.
This video annoys me because you can hear the spit in peoples mouths all the time...
Rated artistic because it sounds like autistic.
Not really.
"Ar"-tistic
"Aw"-tistic
She looks old for her age.
Kinda cute actually.
