lol nope
if you cant accept transgendered people or gay people regardless of SOME might do then youre the immoral bigot not them, and eventually you will lose.
deal with it
This is the fundamental problem with people like you. "White knight" is a word thrown a lot these days, but it has never been more applicable.
In all of my posts, did I ever once say that I can't accept transgender or gay/bi people? Nope. I'm saying that their constant need to label themselves and further divide the human race is going against the goal of making gender/sexual preference/other shit irrelevant.
In a society of true equality, none of these things matter. If you're gay, so what? You are a normal human being, just like anyone else. The same applies for transgendered people. But if you have people separating themselves from humanity and saying garbage like "CIS SCUM", how are they different from the bigots who believe transgendered/gay/bi people are lesser people?
Just because you aren't comfortable with your birth-gender/sex/whatever doesn't mean you are immune to being a bigot. And making up shit like "otherkin" just hurts society further.
But then you've got people like you, who is a part of every single LGBT related thread on this website, ready to jump down someone's throat the moment they disagree with something and continue your crusade, even if you don't fucking understand what you're arguing ABOUT.

stop treating what thisispain is saying like some sort of weird, oddball sci-fi/fantasy dystopian novel that you found at some chapter 11 store. people label themselves because they want something to identify with that works for them, and no one is arguing that anyone is exempt from being discriminatory
This is the fundamental problem with people like you. "White knight" is a word thrown a lot these days, but it has never been more applicable.
you can call me whatever you want it takes a lot to make me cry

and i responded quite succinctly by saying that they're not the ones who are doing something awful.
and idk what goal youre talking about. i dont want to make gender or sexual preference irrelevant. that shouldnt be anyone's goal. human sexuality and gender are incredibly important human concepts and we should learn as a society to respond to them positively, not negatively.
if you have people separating themselves from humanity and saying garbage like "CIS SCUM"
no-one except the very few incredibly misguided people on the internet seriously says that
And making up shit like "otherkin" just hurts society further.
i dont see how that hurts society. i think if society can survive wars it can survive a word.

im playing the worlds smallest violin right now
and i do think i understand very clearly what im arguing about
and the irony of complaining about people saying cis scum when youre more than willing to insult me shouldnt escape you
Oh boy, a transsexual thread on facepunch? What fun.
Oh the irony, people calling FP "transphobic" while there is a dedicated team of trans rights activists ready and waiting to tear into the average joe for posting anything showing trans people in a negative light.
They should pay you guys for the hours you put into working these boards :v:
Considering 95% of the planet (statistic pulled out of my ass) completely misunderstands the issue, you can't really blame them. Especially considering people's general attitude of "suck it up" when talking about mental health (Though it's debatable if this is a physical or mental issue).
Might as well copy my post from not long ago:
The problem is that the vast majority of people don't understand transsexuals at all. Compare that to gays. To most people it's pretty clear what gay means. Even if it's the crudest way of thinking about it (i.e. "dudes wanting to fuck other dudes in the ass"), people know what it means, to a degree. It's just a different sexual orientation. You could explain it with one bullet point if you needed to.
Transsexualism, however, is not an orientation. It's on a completely different level. I'm bold enough to say that I know a thing or two about it, but it's barely enough to even understand what transsexuals have to go through, dealing with themselves and with other people.
It'll take years before gays start being completely ignored (as in, tolerated and accepted) in the western world. I could see that happening within our lifetimes. As for transsexuals, I doubt it. Perhaps the general public will start to understand what it's about by that time - blind hate will take even longer.
This post is probably unreadable and a bad representative of the situation, so I apologise. I just find the general attitude towards transsexuals downright depressing.
Consider this: think of a disease you barely hear of and completely ignore and that nobody you ever knew had. Could be cancer or something like Huntington's disease.
Now imagine a close friend of yours gets the disease. To cure him, you have to get rid of the disease, right? You have something to hate, the disease, the thing that is killing him. This is pretty much the case with the majoriy of illnesses people can encounter. When someone asks them what's wrong, they can say "this disease is killing me". It's pretty obvious what the issue is, even to someone who doesn't know about the exotic disease he might have.
Turn this around: a close friend of yours is a transsexual or has PTSD or perhaps autism. Why are they like that? Are they to blame? Is there some disease we can hate? Nope. Has to be them, they're the ones acting all weird and doing weird things that are not like anyone else. Must be their fault they're not like everyone else then, right? So you tell them to suck it up and be normal. Let's say they don't end up being hated (or having a witch-hunt called on them, like in Greece these days), but everyone just tells them to suck it up. And since they don't have a disease to blame, they turn to blaming themselves. And then they have depression and then they can (depending on the social climate) just end up a statistic in the yearly suicide count.
I barely know the surface of the problem, yet I could write so much more. The problem is, most of neutral/transphobes won't even care to read this much. Currently the best way to help gender dyphoria is to educate everyone else, but it's pretty obvious that's a work of Sisyphus.
I'm thankful I'm not transgender. I don't think I'd be able to deal with shit like this on a daily basis and stay sane/alive at the same time.
so all humans need to fuck off and die
I believe he said " Humans that wouldn't be able to survive on their own in a environment, like a jungle or small island, need to fuck off and die "
I understand reading comprehension can be a bit difficult at times, but if you study hard enough, you too can understand full sentences like a champ!
Seriously, how did you even come to that conclusion? Is half your screen hidden from view or something?

he's being sarcastic what are you even doing
Because it's stupid. It is for this reason that we have hundreds of people on Twitter bitching about the royal baby being described as a boy or a girl. "Isn't it a bit early to assign it a gender?"
Or how about the individuals on tumblr that openly refuse to associate with people who are "CIS gendered"?
It's like in their pursuit to make people feel independent and be who they are, they just created a brand new form of discrimination: tumblr white knight special snowflake syndrome.
And let's not even talk about the absolute garbage that is the "PRIVILEGE LEVEL".
Please, let's separate actual transgender issues from tumblr's special snowflake bullshit that's done by overprivileged teenagers with superiority complex. There are people that are completely batshit about gender issues and they're not helping anyone.

Missing the point 101, with ScratchNsniff.
He's trying to say pretty much no one can survive like that. Especially some group of no-lifers that sit in their mothers basements the whole day.

what a waste of a post that could be spent complaining about cultural marxists instead
I just love how you tried to apply reading comprehension as a fault against him while making one big reading comprehension mistake.
and i responded quite succinctly by saying that they're not the ones who are doing something awful.

I meant irrelevant in day to day life. Whether you like men or women, or whether you have a dong or not, shouldn't matter in things such as friendship, jobs, and so forth. It should be a human quality that differs from person to person, not a red flag that makes you stand out among the rest.
no-one except the very few incredibly misguided people on the internet seriously says that
You must be new to the internet.
i dont see how that hurts society. i think if society can survive wars it can survive a word.
It hurts society because its still separating people. Instead of working to make these things natural, accepted, etc etc, these people continue to throw up barriers. By labeling yourself obnoxious things like *insert word I've used before for the 100th time* you are making something very serious into a dumb little club, whose primary goal is "who can be the special-est of special snowflakes".
im playing the worlds smallest violin right now

You seem to think I'm the enemy of fundamental rights despite what I'm saying, so I don't think you know, sorry.
And if you think what I've said is insulting, the internet must be a hard place for you.
And:
you can call me whatever you want it takes a lot to make me cry
lol.

See? This is what I'm talking about. This is what I'm arguing is a bad thing: that tumblrknights find it appropriate to make LGBT rights a joke and create five quintillion labels just because they prefer Jiff over other peanut butter.
so your entire argument is that individuality is bad and we should become a proverbial blob of like mindedness.

Speak for yourself, some of us haven't been wasting our time learning about white privilege all day long.

Being unique and having preferences and opinions and differences is being human. When you create labels for everything you do, you are seeking attention. When you use these labels to discriminate and put down others, you are a douchebag.
Speak for yourself, some of us haven't been wasting our time learning about white privilege all day long.
epic ownage xd
Speak for yourself, some of us haven't been wasting our time learning about white privilege all day long.
I have literally no idea where you got white privilege out of any of this.
And it doesn't take long to read a few articles to and fro work, considering these problems affect me on a personal level and have my whole life, I have the right to learn about them.
why is it that most people with anime avatars or something relating to their favourite TV show have the worst opinions on this site
it's like 75% of the time from these people you hear sheltered bullshit you would have experience in from only watching youtube videos your whole life

I prefer people who watch anime to those who go "transgenders? i hate them but i won't outright state it, just heavily imply it".
Why does she wear two watches

The one on her right looks like a bracelet and not a watch.

Helps you tell the time twice as well.

The only person that seems sheltered is you. I just love how you can spout such bullshit like 'People who have x avatar have the worst opinion'.
And just a reminder, your avatar is also from an animation. Not exactly a very high brow animation, but regardless.
The one on her right looks like a bracelet and not a watch.
Both look like watches to me.
Both look like watches to me.
I don't see any dials on the right (her right) one.

Bad quality video + light on white surface?
why are you even talking about what's on her wrist? why does it even bother you
it's like 75% of the time from these people you hear sheltered bullshit
lol do you even know what 'sheltered' means. acceptance of gender minorities is not common in the slightest
Bad quality video + light on white surface?
Well, who knows. It'd be pretty weird if it was a watch unless it had a really small frame or something. Maybe the silver thing is a plate covering it, but to me it just looks like some sort of silver or nickel decoration.
why are you even talking about what's on her wrist? why does it even bother you
Because I can't be bothered listening to her.
why are you even talking about what's on her wrist? why does it even bother you
He thinks it's odd to have two watches (I guess) and I'm bored and legitimately think that the thing on her right hand is just a bracelet and I wouldn't have much to contribute to an argument besides the same exact points that you guys are making.
Well, who knows. It'd be pretty weird if it was a watch unless it had a really small frame or something. Maybe the silver thing is a plate covering it, but to me it just looks like some sort of silver or nickel decoration.
Pretty weird bracelet then. Makes more sense as a watch seeing as it's a round thing with straps on both sides.
