'Shit...okay' Was it his car? :D 5:48 What's going on? I just...the BBC wouldn't do that :v:
the reporter was harassing and following the man into his store. he could have responded otherwise, but honestly the situation he was in was hostile enough to warrant a punch. [editline]27th February 2013[/editline] this could probably be considered self-defense since the man was obviously trying to distance himself from the reporter and the reporter pursued him. [editline]27th February 2013[/editline] btw he could also be guilty of assault for grabbing the collar of that dude. however, the guy still pursued him.
Grabbing someone is automatically considered assault (battery if you're suing). Self defense is only valid when you're defending yourself from a valid threat, and I don't think that the new reporter is very threatening.
Self defense is only valid when you're defending yourself from a valid threat, and I don't think that the new reporter is very threatening.
you could make the claim that the reporter pursuing the man like that was incredibly hostile and obviously unwanted. the man trying to distance himself adds credence to this. honestly i dont think either of them handled the situation well, but i don't think either of them should really be charged or sent to jail for it.
There is something critical that you are failing to understand: There are other possible actions in that situation besides punching somebody in the fucking face!
Well, honestly, the guy had no right to grab him by the collar and threaten to punch him, but sort of did have a right to give him a good one as he tried to walk in behind him since he grabbed the door and did open it more so he could try and get in. And then on camera he says You didn't tell me Not to! What a jackass. Since he had a camera with him filming, and he actually opened the door and try to go in, the guy was probably within the law to hit him like he did
So what the hell was dripping out of that busted light?
