The thing that tells me it's fake is his reaction coming out of the water. I wouldn't take off mycamera and be like "wow kewl!" I would have been yelling up at my friends, who are up on the cliff probably about to jump in, not to jump down because there's a fucking shark in the water.
The ones at the top of the cliff are the ones that pointed out the shark.
"Shark behind you" turns around and swims towards the shark, i don't buy it nice try Jimmy Kimmel
i can tell its fake because of the pixels
trust me, i have photoshop
What the fuck is up with :58 when the shark is 20 feet away and he throws himself infront of it and flails all his limbs and goes BLRBLLBRLBLRBL and then it notices him :v:
Good thing it wasn't hungry, lucky guy.
As if anyone could stay calm in that situation unless they had experience with sharks in the past.
I have no experience what so ever yet I still have the knowledge. Sharks 9 times out of 10 are passive towards humans and although attacks are known to occur they usually happen when the human is mistaken for another animal, is bleeding, or is flailing like a dying seal.
In any situation, regardless of the danger, it is good practice to remain calm.
Good thing he had the time to stare at it for several seconds and get a good shot with this GoPro.
Would you not keep an eye on the shark to attack it in case it lunges at you?

Knowing and executing are two different beasts.
Especially when you're in an adrenaline rush fearing for your life in an odd environment to move around like the sea
Seems a tad fake imo
I think so, if it was real, he would be dead

that's not how the human psyche works
Isn't it like a couple days from shark week?
My vote's fake too. Their reactions, and especially the underwater scream, seemed forced to me.
it looks somewhat fake but if it really is then I've gotta give 'em hats off for an outstanding edit

Besides, who just straight screams like that? Most people would be swearing the whole time. Also if someone yelled 'SHARK' at me, i would swim for shore, not towards it to see if they're fucking with me.
The water depth, distance to shark and the cut made it pretty obvious. Oh well it was fun while it lasted :v:

Actually i'd scream underwater, and then keep my GoPro on it.
