If it's just a 2D projection, they should really downsize this idea to a regular LCD screen or even just sell an app version that you can run on any supported OS. $3,000 is way too much for most people in their target market.
And I mean, just read literally any thread across the internet currently talking about this. Everyone's joking about it and slagging it off, but also making side remarks about how they'd actually buy it if it were cheaper. Smart hubs are already a thing, and the 'waifu' hook would make them attractive to a huge market of nerds.
