People will find anything to complain about
This game looks really fucking cool it has swords and robots and blood if you dont like those things then you are a scrub
revengance is a stupid word
I'm actually really excited for this. It's won me back, I'll admit.
Some people say that "it's not Metal Gear Solid because it's not stealth", but I don't think it was meant to be in the first place.
I think they could make two separate series of games. One for stealth and one for action. The best of both worlds, everybody wins.
Now if only Resident Evil could do this with action and survival horror, then I'd be happy.
Originally this was going to have very pacey stealth segments as well as action. This is what Hideo meant when he said "lightning bolt action".
I'm not interested in a license being thrown onto a gameplay template like this is especially the fact they even used metal gear in the title. If it were Grey Fox in the lead role and had a more serious/realistic tone overall I would've been into it.
That's the dumbest concept for a mech ever, why would you want to put blood in a machine?
Because it's a biomechanical war machine, it's a cross between a big "animal" and a tank.
This makes it terribly agile, and likely far more efficient than a pure mech.
If the game doesn't end with Raiden and the main villain jumping into space and having a fist fight then I won't be satisfied.
If they make a sequel: Metal Gear Rising: Re-Revengeance.

basically it's a organic robot.
the legs are Artificial tissue, instead of robotic legs that are heavy and force you to stay on ground, the gekko can just jump around and move quickly due to having artificial legs. They are very superior on the battlefield due to this.
since they are made out of fake Tissues and stuff, they bleed.
it's also how raiden moves around so quickly, his whole body was rebuilt using cybernetics
FIrst trailer back in 2010 looked promising, this just looks laughable. As in literally laughable. As in fucking hilarious; the song choice, the voice acting, the script put me in stitches by the end. I don't really like the MGS writing anyway and this is a crappy knock off of that, even the title is hilarious.

Uhhh what the fuck what about the fact that they MOO?! Nobody seems to give a shit about that, even though it never made sense as to why they did. It always made me laugh really, but it seems like a thing people would complain about.
This looks a bit like an open world game like inFAMOUS or something. It just has that feel to it. Bit disappointed about the lack of stealth, but action is the next best thing anyway.
Really have to wait and see more gameplay footy before I can decide how much I like this game.
This looks like shit. They removed the physics and everything that made the game so promising. Originally it was supposed to contain some stealth as well but now it's Bayonetta but mgs.
This is not right
It looks REALLY fun, but its not mgs style at all.
But one thing that really bugs me is how he slices the enemy even after they are definitely dead.
