Why are MMO's less graphically intensive than most other games? Is it just a matter of bandwidth/hosting?

More than likely they'll just make it like WoW except instead of attacking automatically you have to hit a key to attack. This is not only missing the point entirely but only making it worse. Chances are, there'll be 0 impact on both you and the enemy unless they use a skill that has, say, a "knockdown" effect or something of the like. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's not like this but as far as we've seen in the minuscule amount of gameplay footage they've shown it's exactly like that. Characters just sort of wave their weapons around in the air in front of enemies and the enemy neither flinches or staggers until they die :v:

Multiplayer can be done a lot simpler if the server and client have a [b]consistent[/b] frametime, because they can more or less predict if you're moving in a straight line where you'll be in the next frame of game simulation. That's my best guess for why, aside from laziness.
I just wonder how much canon is going to get raped.

it's all a giant hyperbole, but, considering DLC these days 50$ a month isn't THAT far fetched.

I heard they will be just like an MMO
and if that's true it'll make it feel exactly like I wanted to make my post feel, a boring, calculated generic mmo with shitty combat. But, I'm hoping that it is not!
