And then everything loses focus and turns into a muddy mess of "what were we doing again", "how do we do this" and "which group is this helping" so everyone just reverts back to the old labels for practicality and clarity
If anything was to be amalganised it would be gender and sex related movements (LGBT rights, feminism, ect.) since the inequality in all those things share root causes
The way I see it I think women get unhappier because their entire life, women treat themselves and are treated by men as objects. Women spend a lot of time to make themselves pretty and valuable, and men work hard to get money so they can 'buy' the women by owning a large house, car and a stable income to convince the women they can support them and their future children.
Women get unhappier, because their 'value' decreases as they get older and their purpose as an object becomes less important.
In contrast, men get happier because they achieve what the wanted and can now focus on other things in life.
