A stupid storyline that makes little sense, but one that Secrios at least tried to successfully pry from the twisted bowels of his mind. Awful animation, but due to inexperience rather than apathy. Terrible VA work, but VA work which was at least attempted if nothing else. Foodfight, on the other hand, had barebones dead-eyed CG, a forgotten-until-needed plot, horrible corporate whoring and much more. Foodfight is the sort of awfulness from which no humor can directly be gleaned, only the reactions of poor souls as they are ripped from their blissful ignorance of its existence can be comedic. Foodfight has no redeeming value of any sort, it's a horrifically-birthed torture tool and nothing more. In the deepest pits of the comedy abyss, where even the foulest comedies refuse to tread, Foodfight once sat in total solitude and waited. Now it's been set free by ignorant fools, and has begun to obliterate all comedy as we know it.

Wow, this is like if Richard Keel watched "The Room." Jesus, the visuals aren't awfully done, and the animation can be passable for how much of it there is, but the acting is two steps above the cast of Garzey's Wing and the ideas are so ill-conceived that it really starts feeling like something the talented Mr. Weston Chandler might do if he had a budget beyond his welfare payments. Okay, you cross TF2 with ponies... okay, not great, but in SFM it at least makes sense to work around your content limitations. Then we jam in interspecies romance subplots, worse yet without establishing them. We get references to jokes from Family Guy, gags from Pokemon. A number of non-sequitors, pointless-ass scenes that further nothing and aren't funny. There's the ill-advised appeal to anime-styles which DO NOT FUCKING WORK in 3d, especially demonstrated in the intro, which seems to be in denial over this fact. Then we've added fucking Kingdom Hearts to the mix for no reason... and Rarity has been changed to some weird fucking "kawaii desu neeeeee~" stereotype that rounds out the creepiness of it all. Then our action scene, which apart from giving the lead character unbelievable super-powers out of nowhere, is too slow and floaty for us to believe what's going on, all backed by that one rock-cover of "Hikari..." Fuck... the thing can't keep to a tone in ANY scene, devolving into madcap pratfalls, mystifying the viewer as to whether this is farcical by design or just because the creators are THAT deaf to the precedings. At the end of the day, this makes me feel less awkward about my high school years, when I was trying stupidly to produce a crossover between Dragonball Z... and Ed, Edd n' Eddy. It's just terrible. It's a terrible, terrible series. And I know, I know, effort and all that shit, but I mean, regardless of effort and creativity and all that, this is just [I]bad.[/I] It tries to shove as much awful shit into one series as possible. Combining TF2, ridiculous anime shit, and ponies was bad enough, but the fine details just sprinkle so much more awfulness. So much fucking meme garbage, ripped old jokes from Family Guy that stopped being funny several years ago, slenderman, and fucking [I]PewDiePie[/I] for no apparent reason. And that's not even mentioning how horribly incomprehensive the plot is, how bad the voice acting is (seriously it's like for some parts they only did one fucking take), and just how generally terrible the production itself is. I want to apologize for being mean, but, I don't feel like it deserves an apology. They should have known better than to do this. This is bad. This is really bad. I don't know what to call it. Most people would just call it autistic as fuck or whatever, but since I think that shit is dumb, I don't know what to call this. Whatever the not-offensive-to-autistic-people version of that is, this series is that. I can only possibly see this appealing to people who consistently make themselves the worst, most obnoxious members of fandoms. I will say that some of the animation is competent or even good, but when it's going towards obnoxious shove as many references to popular shit as you can humor like this, it's just such a waste.

Some friends and I tried to watch the actual episode on Synctube. It was so bad that we couldn't make it past the intro. I came back to the episode later and watched it alone. I think I'm actually going to kill myself now.

And there's some good kinds of "LOL RANDOM" type humour, but this is actually a very clichéd mismatch of jokes and references that stopped being funny years ago rather than actual random behaviour.
