Same guy did the music for Jurassic World and the Lost World video game

He also did this

Also did the music for Up including that scene

All of these songs are great, but this one still gives me goosebumps.

The commissar speech at the beginning was very well written.
Medal of Honor Frontline was the first FPS I ever played. Me and my step dad would play that and Rising Sun together all the time. Especially Rising Sun because it had split screen co-op. I never really got to play the PC Medal of Honor games though. We had Allied Assault and Pacific Assault but Allied Assault just barely ran on our computer and Pacific Assault wouldn't start. Now I have no idea where the disks are and neither of those are on Steam, but at least I still have my PS2 and the PS2 Medal of Honor games.
That was from the original CoD. The chorus of MG42 and explosions with the orchestral piece was what made it hit hard.
It was. PS3 Version of the Medal of Honor 2010 collector's edition had it downloadable.
That's not Allied Assault, is it?
That's not Allied Assault, is it?
It was Frontline. I own a digital copy of Frontline on the PS3, so I'm sure it was Frontline.
I'm not sure what it is about the main theme for MOH:Frontline, but when that refrain hits, the hairs on my neck stand up.
My favorite (and also my favorite MOH)
I don't think I was ever on the menu long enough to hear past that first stinger but it's ingrained in my head.

That whole soundtrack was amazing.

I miss WW2 games.
They really do have a bigger sense of authenticity than modern FPS's with pussy ass heartbeat monitors.
sniper town still makes me feel paranoid, 13 years after playing the game for the first time

Is Sniper town the level where you try to keep a (several?) medics alive while avoiding a sniper? I think I remember watching my dad play that part when I was very young.
Looking back on older games like this make me realize how much charm they had. Something about the way they look makes them feel more gritty and realistic than most games we have now, like you can tell how much genuine love was put into MoH. I miss that. Probably will never forget the opening when you hit the beach.

you can tell by the concept art

This is what I remember most from my childhood, MOH Allied Assault and Battlefield 1942 were two of the first online multiplayer games I ever played, with the third being Counter-Strike. I miss those days.

still gives me chills
I remember replaying that Tank level over and over again cause it was so fucking cool back in the day
Allied Assault was the very first online game I played.
Literally my first online match, I wasn't sure what anything in the menu meant because I didn't speak English then. Somehow I got into a game, and ran around the empty map, pretty shit scared for some reason. Then I went into some church, and shot around, and suddenly this guy joined, spawned in the church, threw some hand grenades around, and left again. I was fucking shocked :v:
I remember a map, similar to the end part of saving private ryan, I think it was called crossroads, sitting in the church tower taking shots at people ah the fun times

It makes me so happy that the Western Front Armies theme is reminiscent of these old WW2 themes.
We need more WW2 shooters.

Probably because I am young, but European Assault was my favorite MOH game, that was my childhood from 8-12 years old. I love the ST. Nazaire raid and one of the last levels where you fight king tigers.
EDIT: Now that I think about it I would say the Africa levels were my favorite, hnnng so many memories.
One of my favourites:

this is my favorite
The first game was my favorite in the series. I 100% completed it when it came out and even though it has pixely PS1 graphics, the dirt and grime and great atmosphere made it really fun.
The OST seems like they just continued the fuckin Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade soundtrack

Also this one

who am I kidding the whole OST to the first game

Christopher Lennertz did great with the Pacific Theatre games, and European Assault too.
Original and my personal favourite.......

Sadly, MoH : Airborne was the last good Medal of Honor :(
I really need to see more WW2 shooters, hopefully, a new Brothers In Arms game should get into developpment if Gearbox ever finds a dev company willing to finish the series.
Oh, and my favourite MoH soundtrack :

Seeing all the ships exploding, japanese fighters flying everywhere and helping the wounded sailors with this track in the background was just fucking epic and full of feels. Man I wish MoH:PA still worked on my PC.

This is my second favourite soundtrack, but this one takes the cake

that 2:01 part always gets me, it's so sad
I already posted it, but it was missing something. The Air raid siren, plane fly by's moving tanks and of course the maniacal German shouting over loudspeaker calling for Manon's head.

Absolutely awesome
Medal of Honor 2010 was actually really good too

the whole game is basically a reference to that movie. soldiers quote the movie word-for-word during the omaha mission
I played the game long before the first time I saw that movie so when I heard it I was like whaaaaaaat
