I'd say the moustache guy is even more awkward than the green hoodie guy. At least the green hoodie guy is trying to make the whole event less awkward by talking. Then again, what he was saying when he was talking WAS really awkward

Generally it's polite to respond to what people say rather than just say "alright...". Maybe he could have followed up some stuff with a canned laugh and a polite question to ease the awkwardness I know the kid may have been annoying him but some basic social etiquette would have made it a whole lot less awkward

I want to see more of these two.

When someone keeps talking and talking and talking you just give up and won't give them any type of response they can continue with because you want them to shut the fuck up.
I know what mikael akerfeldt is gonna make songs about for the new Opeth album...
He did try to humor him at first, however like I said earlier, it's not like he can keep it up for over an hour.
Yeah, it's difficult. I've been in that situation before (though not playing video games) Part of me understands it, but part of me thinks he should have expected to be talked to, since it's a social event rather than him just playing alone in his room. For that reason, he should have been prepared to deal with social situations like that and talk his way through them Though I didn't realize this SGDQ thing stood for "SG Done Quick" so perhaps it's hard to hold a conversation while playing as fast as possible
"Never doubt the powers of weaponspace" "....Allright" I love this
the runner really comes off as sort of a self important dick with a super short temper that's taking things too seriously you can tell that he humors the guy for the first part of the video but then at one point he just gets grumpy as shit
I cringed through the whole video but couldn't help but feel like mustachio was a dick when green-hoodie brought up a valid point about pigs being baddies. "Thank you for listing pigs in video games". I was still cringing, but not at green-hoodie
Teenage moustache kid looks like a guy I knew from High School.

So what I'm getting from this is that moustache guy is actually talking very frequently about aspects of the game. So it really is justice. Green hoodie guy is clearly chiming in with inane bullshit constantly in an attempt to be funny.

After putting up with some awkward autist's bullshit for a couple hours, you're not going to suddenly perk up and go, "golly, you're right!" When he actually brings up something authentic. Besides, if he actually entertained green-hoodie's response, you know what would've happened? Green-Hoodie would get all proud of himself and continue (with renewed spirits) spouting inane bullshit because he KNOWS mustachio is listening.

I'm just saying conversations are a two way street and i couldn't help but cringe at mustachios attempts to make green-hoodie seem more awkward. Though I'm sure the segment wouldn't even be getting its' own highlight if not for the hostility, and it definitely wouldn't have been as funny.

Honestly there was no other way to handle the situation; either he makes Green seem more awkward (which let's face it, has and was going to happen regardless of what Mustachio said) or entertain Green's question and suffer the consequences of responding to a guy desperately looking for conversation. If conversation's a two-way street, than what Mustachio did was give Green a dead-end, rather than just more road.
Is that the guy from Blue's Clues Either way both him and mustachio were awkward
Holy shit, it's like you guys never played video games. Try playing a level that requires all your attention. Now try doing it for the duration of the whole game. Now try giving viewers interesting commentary on the game. Pretty hard, huh. Now on the top of that, imagine some guy sits next to you and tries to grab your attention with mediocre jokes. Mustachio gets my respect, if you watch the whole speedrun you can actually see he tried to talk with green hoodie guy when he asked legit questions about the game.
Damn, I gotta admire James Franco's self control, if I was in this situation, I wouldn't have hesitated to smash the controller in his balls.
In high school I was that guy. I told a bunch of Chuck Norris jokes to all I encountered and everyone hated me.
I went through that phase as well. Told Chuck Norris jokes to anybody and everybody and only later did I realize that not only did nobody find them funny, but that they were trying their damndest to not punch me in my dick.
Chibi is his name, pussy is his game.
i get what you mean when you say you're like the green hoodie guy
It's a line from a stupid rap song by 3 6 Mafia that I have ingrained in my head.

It's also social etiquette to not make the conversation awkward. Why blame the respondent rather than the instigator?
yeah the mustache dude isn't a saint, seems like a dick and just as bad as the sweater guy
