Mitt Romney being a dick to a terminally ill person

You know it is a shitty Election year when Ron Paul somehow comes out looking the best.

He's not saying he wants to legalize gay marriage, he's saying the federal government will not block it, nor will it guarantee that same-sex couples can get married. Like most civil rights issues, he leaves it up to the states for whatever arbitrary reason he's decided on.
If it's a matter of deciding things more locally being better, why not make all civil rights decisions on the city council level? Or the neighborhood level? Or is that just too small?
I'd rather have a president guarantee the rights of same-sex couples to get married and share in the legal benefits that heterosexual couples enjoy as well as guarantee the right of people to do what they want with their body, rather than just pledge not to prevent them from doing it.
No, Ron Paul was connected to those newsletters, and he defended them in the past.

However, I still think he's the most sane republican candidate, and even if he privately stood by those newsletters I don't think he would do anything to harm civil rights while in office; to do so would be a contradiction of his ideology. I don't think we should deny the facts, but I also don't think it's that relevant. Everyone's done things they regret, presidential candidates included. The real question is whether this disqualifies him as a candidate, and based on everything he's been saying, I don't think it does.
But that's just the issue. Sure, he wouldn't have done anything to harm them, but he wouldn't do anything to outright safeguard them.

Would it be considered gay if I called his views 'As dreamy as david tennant's sideburns?'
Because they are.
edit: to clear up confusion, I mean they're awesome. Not unrealistic. Just sayin'.
Who gives a fuck let the guy have his medical marijuana, fuck me this planet.
it documents = documentary
The general definition of a documentary is some sort of factual report.
I wouldn't trust a political attack video to be very factual. Considering major facts are neglected in order to keep with the negative image.
This has been said before, and must be said again. Ron Paul is a horrible presidential candidate. He's a man that legitimately believes that welfare and government programs caused the recession. He captures people's imagination by saying "Free the drugs, gay rights!", but if you actually listen to him, he says he'd "leave it to the states". Imagine if they had left it to the states in 1964 instead of passing the Civil Rights Act, I bet in some places in the deep south there would still be segregation. (Btw Ron Paul said he was against the Civil Rights Act)The only hope for full gay marriage or legalized marijuana in this nation is with federal law, because sometimes we need the government to drag the many backwards-ass people of this nation into progress. Not to mention his love of deregulation, which caused the recession in the first place. Ron Paul is not a friend of the middle or lower class. The end.
Btw I'm not surprised at Mitt's reaction, he's just a typical conservative dick.

All of your posts are great.
I wish more people would be able to see this video so they can see just how much of an asshole Romney really is.
