I can't imagine what it's like being a furry, I think I may have fallen into it a few years ago when I didn't have any friends.

Sure, but I believe some people become way too obsessed with furry fandom, so obsessed it becomes an outlet for problems.
Literally all of the furries I've known throughout the past 5 years have had some problems, usually with insecurities. Even my one of my best friends was a furry, he got over it once he grew up however, but I did talk to him about it, and it turns out he was insecure about the way he looked.
I really want to see a furry in public so I can steal the mask and run.

There are furries that are Zoophiles, it's really hard to notice the difference sometimes, so it's hard to determine if a furry is one of those guys that like to fuck animals, one of those guys that think he's an animal, or one of those guys who just has a fetish for anthropomorphic art shit.
I'm really not ok with the first 2, I'm only slightly ok with the last.

I used to have a furry friend online that I later found out used furry to cover up his bestiality fetish. He even wanted to finger his best friend's Husky. Hell, he even considered people in fursuits to be animals and wanted to actually have fursuit sex.
I'm not a hater of furries who just fap to the porn or just like it as a hobby. But if you do any of the above or treat it as a life style, you suck.
