Alone in the Zone - New Chernobyl material like you've never seen before

This looks incredibly interesting. I've had a huge interest in Prypiat and the areas Chernobyl area since STALKER was in it's alpha build and I'm seriously considering getting the DVD. If I hadn't spent most of my wages in the pub already I'd have bought it. If there are copies left next week I'm definitely investing.
I wonder how much harmful radiation that guy sucked up going into the places he did and what possessed him to do it in the first place. Did he have a death wish or something? Surely he must have had some second thoughts when he was heading into some of the more dangerous areas. That's dedication to a cause for you.
CRANES.

The only thing that people in Russia are afraid of is sobriety.
Why only a limited amount of copies? Why not keep on selling them (for a lower price, more people will buy it) and donate the money to the re-settlers like he is going to?
That motherfucker was walking over piles of gas masks. There were even shelves of bottles with liquid in them. Makes you wonder how much shit got left behind during evacuation.
Dude, that looks like it'd be a good watch.
Fuck someone give me $50.
Please. :saddowns:
obnoxious use of fisheye

Is anyone else hoping this is actually a scripted movie and about halfway through he starts noticing figures in the distance and at night he gets attacked by mutants with The Blair Witch Project camera style?
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF HE WILL SHIP TO AUSTRALIA!!!!

Fisheye is the worse thing ever invented for movies or Pictures !
yay capitalizing off of a historic tragedy
He's giving the profits to the Re-settlers, the guy who did this is one badass motherfucker.

It's not a fish eye, it's just wide angle. Probably using a gopro helmet cam.
Oooh cranes!
It looks very interesting but that trailer really put me off. I don't know the film is just going to be epic action music playing while they explore? if its slow and eerie with no music and just a little bit of ambient sound?
Its probably better than that, but that trailer doesn't help my interest in the slightest.
In my opinion its just some guy walking around Chernobyl at dark. The only real danger is the radiation.

It's a documentary of sorts, people usually aren't in danger while making these.
Did you expect him to grab a vodka bottle, an ak47 and go shoot some bloodsuckers?

The gas masks were actually stored in Pripyat during the Cold War, and scavengers went in and stole the silver ring on the inside of the filters, if you go to Pripyat you'll see crates full of them, filters torn apart for scrap.
This video will probably be plastered all over the internet now just because they said it wouldn't
The trailer would've been better if he'd used some dark ambient, instead of epic fantasy fight-music. Seriously considering buying this, but I don't like the whole expensive limited edition thingy, and I don't know if he's added the same fighting music to the movie itself.

I've bought it, so if no one else does I'll let you know what it's like. I have no idea if it's even being sent to me or if I like "pre ordered" it. I kinda just bought it on impulse lol.
To be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of the Chernobyl footage. It's a horrible tragedy, but people still cream their pants when they see the empty city. I did notice the nuclear plant shots, which were the only parts that were interesting, being kind of a new media from the zone.
