Those guys must have balls of uranium, holy fuck.
Man, those shots of pripyat and the reactors. How many people must have been exposed to so much radiation that they died there?
This guy has balls of lead man. How strong is the radiation there today?
The first 20 seconds of the trailer I was all like "meh I've seen all that before" But holy shit I got prooven wrong there. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] I'd really wanna go there and just fuck around.

That's so fucking awesome, all the old gasmasks and filters and test tubes and machinery! I want to go there with this person and fight off deadly mutants and have sex with bloodsuckers. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline]
I'd go there and pack my pockets full of radioactive russian shit. Damn hipsters will eat that shit up.
And pretty much this.
To be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of the Chernobyl footage. It's a horrible tragedy, but people still cream their pants when they see the empty city. I did notice the nuclear plant shots, which were the only parts that were interesting, being kind of a new media from the zone.
I'm interested in it because it's great reference for buildings in a large state of decay that were abandoned on the spot.
meh sounds mediocre [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] wait... did he REALLY SAY CRANES? [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] movie of the year.
The fizzy camera distortion transitions in the trailer were annoying *A nice view FSFSFDFRR *Walking inside a buildi- FSFSFDFRR *Outside
Was he on his own the whole time? Damn that must've been creepy
Just wait a few years and maybe one of us could do this in Japan
Holy fuck, that guy isn't even worried about the radiation.
They show Yanov House from Call of Pripyat and the Limansk Array (Woodpecker radar). You guys should really go on Google Earth. You can find places like Red Forest, the Kruglov Antenna Complex from CoP, and you'll be astonished how realistic the NPP is on ShoC compared to the real life version. You can basically see the route you take at the end all the way.
In my opinion its just some guy walking around Chernobyl at dark. The only real danger is the radiation.
actually there is the genuine danger of wildlife since there are almost no humans about the place is basically a wildlife park, and wolves are deadly irradiated or otherwise [editline]1st May 2011[/editline]
They show Yanov House from Call of Pripyat and the Limansk Array (Woodpecker radar). How are they not affected by the radiation?
How are they not affected by the radiation?
Oh believe me they are, it's not instant or something though.
Jesus christ, I swear I saw like 10 pieces of Russian military gear. Looks awesome. Also, did not know there were any re-settlers.
CRANES.
Hahaha I laughed when I saw that. I was gonna bait pedophiles into paying for this for me, but then I realised that it'll end up on the internet anyway. Still, a legit hard copy would be nice... Fuck ever walking down that dark hallway with the pipes, and fuck ever walking through the cemetary at night too.
It it already released or what? As in are the copies being send to the people who bought it already?
Sorry to bump, but to those who have purchased this... was it worth it? I'd like to know how it is.
I'm considering buying this, but 30€ is a bit too much for a documentary to be honest.
Why don't we all buy a copy together and SHARE it. As friends. [sp]please don't ban me, no piracy intended[/sp]
Why don't we all buy a copy together and SHARE it. As friends. [sp]please don't ban me, no piracy intended[/sp]
You mean like someone streaming it so we can all watch it?
Fucking hell I would do anything to use DUGA-3 as a short wave antenna! And I want to go to the zone in the future. Now that would be fucking awesome.
Do it. Then stream it for all of us.
Hi all! This is my first post there so let me introduce myself. I'm Arkadiusz Podniesinski, the author of Alone in the Zone film. Some information you should know before you buy (or steal): For purposes of identification and protection against illegal distribution, every copy of the film is individually recorded and attributed to the buyer. The buyer’s data and transaction number is placed in the content of each film (invisible to the viewer). So be aware sharing the film. And try to help the poor Ukrainians instead of stealing other people’s property. All revenue from the film will be forwarded to re-settlers. BTW: Why the most often word used in this thread is "fucking"? If anyone have any questions just let me know. Arkadiusz Podniesinski www.podniesinski.pl
Dick move only selling a few copies. And either way its still going to get uploaded to Piratebay anyway.

I Dont have a bank account and I Dont have the money to buy it and then get it shipped to my location. It could be a very valuable educational tool but it seem's it wont be the case.

How many copies you still have left? It seems that the PayPal options on the site are gone. Also, I'm pretty sure that everyone respect what you've done. That being said, what do you gain from not releasing the film once all the copies have been sold?
Hi. How many copies you still have left? It seems that the PayPal options on the site are gone.
If you can go through the payment procedure it means that copies are still available.
Also, I'm pretty sure that everyone respect what you've done. That being said, what do you gain from not releasing the film once all the copies have been sold?
Simply because there are many ways to make additional profit after all the copies have been sold. It is a normal policy of any producer to distribute the film firstly through the cinemas, than shops, cable TV, TV and so on. In my case the next step will be TV channels.
