It's all lies, he's not giving any of the money to the re-settlers. The reason why the movie is so expensive is because the medical bills to treat his radiation poisoning will be through the roof. I kid.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Af3xRzekUFM My mate just got the dvds arived but its damaged which fucking sucks and i send him this link from the website, i feel responsible for this mess which he paid for. youtube discription:
After seeing the trailer I felt the 'random' urge to purchase the whole Movie and some weeks (2 as I recall) it arrived in the mail. Pretty beaten up, sadly. :\ Until now ( I think it arrived like a months ago ) I hadn't had time to do a quick unboxing video, too put on various forums ( since quite some people were/are interested in the movie ). But here it is! The DVD shown at 2:41 has a very thin ring on it, as if the burning process stopped and, sadly enough, I'm unable to rip the archive from the DVD since it's giving me this, http://imgur.com/9QROF , error message. *writes an email*
Oh wow. Can he get a refund?
Where they packing 2 discs in 1 case? That doesn't seem like a smart idea to ship it like that.
Where they packing 2 discs in 1 case? That doesn't seem like a smart idea to ship it like that.
It were 5 dvds packed into 2 cases send into one envelope which is pretty horrible and no wonder its all smacked up.
Oh wow. Can he get a refund?
He just send an email to the dude explaining this situation hoping he'll get a new dvd send since only the 4th one is broken. Or that the guy will upload a download link for "alone bd.part4.rar". Now well he cant rip it the files so he cant watch it.
O hai, friend here. I emailed them (like 2 hours ago?), no reaction yet. *plays the waiting game* *edit Yea they didn't seem to bother about packing it in anything decent it seems, and putting 2 dvds in one (cheap, crappy) plastic protector thingy, is pretty, cheap... In a 'padded' envelope, from Poland to the Netherlands. *sighs* So yea, that's why I uploaded a video, cause I'm disappoint, son.
dat music is awesome! :O
OH man that unboxing video is disappointing. I would of expected more to come with it, at least some art on the dvds

ITT: Shitloads of haggling Not even Owl rips off stalkers that bad
So I bought this when this thread was first posted and just a day or two ago I get this email.
*This e-mail was sent to all US customers who bought the film Alone in the Zone. Dear Customers, We've noticed that some of US based customers still haven't received the film Alone in the Zone. It seems that this is a common problem for US customers only. We suspect that the delays are caused by shipping method used by Polish National Post or US customs. All orders made till the end of April were sent on May, 6th, 2011 by National Post (as a registered/certified mail) and should be supplied to you already. Next week we plan start the complain procedure to find out the reasons of delays. Because of method of shipment used (certified mail) we have to write a complaint for each customer separately. So before that we have to know whether you have received the film. Also, if you ordered Blu-ray version please inform us which kind of player you use to play BD films: standalone player, Playstation 3 or computer build player. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and appreciate your patience. Thank you for your cooperation. Best Regards Alone in the Zone team.
Have not received it yet, and from what I hear it's going to be broken when I get it due to horrid packaging. Awesome!

Tomorrow we will prepare a disk no 4 specially for you (disks are individually recorded and attributed to each customer). We can send it tomorrow via post as before or electronically if you have 4,7 GB free space somewhere. Just let us know which method you prefer.
We agreed that we will send a new disc. The disc was sent today. We sent hundreds of films so sometimes it happens (it seems that padded envelope and plastic boxes are not enough sometimes).
My email contact with the team. I'm getting a new DVD. They should have send it today, we'll see. Should be great. For some reason I can't get images working? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5510388/Alone.In.The.Zone_email-1.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5510388/Alone.In.The.Zone_response-1.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5510388/Alone.In.The.Zone_email-2.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5510388/Alone.In.The.Zone_response-2.jpg http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5510388/Alone.In.The.Zone_email-3.jpg *edit* @ post above We did indeed agree on that, and as you know I commented you about the fast response, which is great! But about what I wrote regarding the plastic DVD case and padded envelope, it's not a very nice nor elegant way of putting 2 dvds in 1 plastic case and from personal experience I know those cases tend to crack pretty fast. So from a business perspective I think it would have been better if you had used something more elegant, more robust, because in the end you want your costumers (ideally) to have a good and warm feeling when they think of your product. You want them to have the best possibly experience (at the lowest cost). So I can imagine with a lot? (or some) American customers not receiving their package, me and my damaged package, it can all happen. I think if you had used a different method of sending it, for example a small carton box with some Styrofoam peanuts (http://goo.gl/1Vsss) and instead of the DVD cases you used, you could have used those 7mm large dvd cases they use for movies and games (http://goo.gl/nrpR0). It would have been a lot easier for everyone, and I think, there would be less complaints or people not getting their package. I don't know, because I don't have any inside information, how many people receive damaged dvd cases etc. but I can imagine I'm not the only one. The padded envelope is nice, but possibly not strong enough the withstand the beating it gets when send around the world. Imagine if someone in Canada ordered the DVD, it would be send from (for example, I don't know what the cheapest is for international air post) Poland to England to America and from America to Canada, from the airport into a truck etc. etc. ultimately it would arrive at someone's home. And I understand it might be economically more interesting the way you did it, but from a customer perspective it's rather disappointing to receive 3 damaged DVD cases, one with a decorated cover, and a letter. It's all about how a customer reviews the product he buys, is he happy with it? Or does he feel lifted and someone just send him a bunch of broken dvds, even, if it's not the person's fault who send the DVD he will be 'held' responsible for what the postage services did to it. I hope anything I wrote can help you in any way, I'm not trying to be rude/mean or blame you for what happened, but I am just trying to give my opinion about this and communicate with other buyers or people who are interested about this. I hope anything I said can be useful for you, and I'm looking forward to receiving my new DVD! :D

The first customers from US told us that they had received the film. You should get the film very soon.

Cracks are not from putting 2 discs in 1 box but from shipping damages. Boxes can be damaged even if we put 1 disc in 1 box. Not working disc wasn’t damaged because of shipping but because of failure in recording. We sent a new disc next day after your complaint. HD on DVD version (5 DVDs instead of 1 BD disc) was created on special request of our customers who don’t have Blu-ray player but want to see the film in the best possible quality (HD). In that case, plastic boxes are only for shipping purposes (protection), and they fulfilled their task. After ripping/burning/copying you will have one single disc/image/file. In this version, all discs are for data storage only. Not for watching the film. And the most important thing is that if we do as you proposed (large boxes for movies), the price of the film will have to increase by $10 (heavier and bigger shipment). Now the shipping is free. Finally, we hope that when you see the film you will understand that the film itself is more important than lack of art on the discs, broken boxes, colorful inserts, etc. Our main goal is to deliver a unique footage. Not package. And if you find that the film is worth, you may purchase a plastic box for 50 cents. It is much cheaper that additional $10 spending on shipping.
I ordered one, still have not recieved it. Fairly disappointing
I ordered one, still have not recieved it. Fairly disappointing
You haven't introduced yourself so I can't check your order. Please contact our team instead. BTW, from our US customers we know that shipment to another continent takes about 7 weeks. All pre-orders were sent on May, 6th. I don't know how long it takes to Australia. I suppose it should be very soon. When you receive it let us know - it is a valuable information not only for us but for other customers from Australia.

I still stand with my "dick move" post on page 3.
That graveyard bit was creepy as fuck. I want to see this! :smith:
Also want to see this, But if you watch something like this you gotta do it in BlueRay, And thats a little to costy for me.
It's ruined by the fisheye. They really do make me sick feeling to watch it.
