A lot of people ask what is the appeal of concerts/shows with dubstep, hardstyle, or other genres of music like this and I'll tell you why. It is the show they put on, like the video. The light shows, fireworks, all the special effects, plus listening to the music on headphones does no justice when they play it on proper concert set-ups. You can feel the base and everything pounding against you're chest, it is kinda crazy. Plus if you're getting sloshed and in a large crowd there is bound to be fun.
Bass heavy music
Dancing would fucking suck without it, though.
Dancing would fucking suck without it, though.
Good point actually.
That's the way Hardstyle, and most other "Hard" music genres go, usually. The point of the music is for dancing, so repetition and predictability are a must. That's actually my main gripe with it, as well. I have a hard time listening to Hardstyle unless I'm at a party or something. [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] They are fairly famous in the Hardstyle genre.
Headhunterz is only person, by the way.
