Next game they'll have a cute kitten getting run over by a bus
The bus will have a Russian accent.
A puppy would be a better choice.
Needless to say I laughed immediately when the little girl fell down.
Gentleman forget about the moral implications of this video, the real problem is far more tragic and serious. Since when camcorders have 5.1 surround recording?
Cod is just getting silly now.
Something I wonder is why no one in the video payed any attention to the guy running out of the vehicle, and didn't wonder.. why.

There's one thing thats been bugging me since CoD4: Isnt Cpt. Price way too old to even be in the SAS?
There's one thing thats been bugging me since CoD4: Isnt Cpt. Price way too old to even be in the SAS?
Cpt. Price is immortal. [editline]3rd November 2011[/editline] Just like Gaz or, more appropriately, Gaz's voice actor. 3 different characters in 3 different games with no relation.
Oh god. Was that the little girls gibs falling out of the sky? This sounds and looks like it was a marketing division idea that was shoehorned in.
Oh god. Was that the little girls gibs falling out of the sky? This sounds and looks like it was a marketing division idea that was shoehorned in.
I thought it was all the dead seagulls who were flying around.
BF3 on low settings look better. :v:
Did anyone noticed the people running out of the truck?
credit where credit is due that wasn't all too bad really. pretty fucked up. too bad that can't be all of the gameplay. [editline]3rd November 2011[/editline] also the voice acting was less than good.

Is it just me or is everyone in this thread are just overeating this cutscene just because it's Modern Warfare 3?
Is it just me or is everyone in this thread are just overeating this cutscene just because it's Modern Warfare 3?
It would've been equally ridiculous for a scene like this to appear in any similar game for these reasons, I.E an attempt at a tragedy completely out of the blue in a blatant attempt to stir controversy. At least when other games display scenes like this they do it with satire (like Postal). For a comparison out of the blue, this scene evokes roughly the same feelings Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne movies did in me when they tried to convince me of the main protagonist's traumatic childhood. The thing was just so awkwardly presented and the tragedy so forced that the overall impression was more laughter-inducing than tear-inducing. Though to be fair I'm certain MW3 will be a lot more fun than an Uwe Boll movie, it was just an example off the top of my head :v:
Didn't see the British Soldiers throwing bundles of money around, totally inauthentic, 0/10
Oh my god there was a hurt marker.
Are they trying to get more media hate? They go from shooting civilians at an airport to a family being bombed by a truck.
i also love the like hurt marker on the camera. very nice touch
i think it's because the player controls the camera view
Green gas for the bio attack. Nothing says biological like green. Not like, maybe naturally colorless gas would cause more damage because they wouldn't figure out that it was even there until it was too late? Maybe?
This will sure get some attention.
That's one of the few things I like about the recent Call of Duty(s). They push the barrier for taboo topics, like the Airport scene and this one. Games shouldn't be bashed on by the fact that you can interact (unless it's cut scene) with some of these areas. If films can do it freely (to an extent) then why not games?

It's another if you're using that taboo to intentionally piss off the moral guardians and news networks just to get more publicity.
And now to wait for someone to make a Dead island theme remake.
1. Release game 2. Add emotionally shocking scene in game to gain outrages by media and moms 3. Gain more acknowledgement of new game 4. Profit
I don't think you get it Activision, you can't do that. You can't kill human kids. How are you planning to get away with this?
London looks nothing like that
At least I had fun in the Call of Duty campaigns.
If by "fun" you mean laughing hysterically at the plot, yeah, i suppose you're right.
