my dick hurts so much it can be used as an AP1 weapon those just keep getting better
Magnus' eye stops glowing when he gets his soul back, nice touch.
God I love this series so much since it actually advances the 40k lore Unlike the official fucking fluff
I don't know if Sicarius sounding like Him from PPG was on purpose or not, but its was fucking awesome.
Personally, I like that this started as a simple question, and as it turns out the answer to "What if the emperor had a text to speech device" was "A whole fucking lot."
Does anyone happen to have a source for the music they used? Specifically 1:38 of the most recent video.

Yeah I love how it kinda expands on the lore but keeps itself in a comedic tone. It makes the writing a lot more forgivable. Not that it's badly written, but it's like it doesn't have any greater guidelines to follow without breaking the lore, since it's not all that serious to begin with.
CREEEEEEEEED... That sneaky motherfucker.
I loved the new episode- it's the longest one yet, and it continues to show the Emperor not just sitting around making small talk. Even the parts where I didn't know who they were talking about I could still gleam enough from the conversations. Also, I dunno if this is answered or not, but do we know what software he uses to get that kind of emperor voice? Not that I'd like to rip him off, but because it's exactly what I need for a future project.

Episode 1 got a remake:
Episode 1 got a remake:
While I do love seeing the quality of the show ramp up as time goes on, remaking the originals to have the same quality of the latest episodes is a pretty good tradeoff. I hope he does the whole series (while also doing new episodes, of course).
Episode 1 got a remake:
I don't really like the remake because it starts out with silliness and jokes before the emperor speaks. The reason why the original was funny (and maybe the creator didn't realize it himself, hence this remake) is because everything had a more or less serious tone, which was suddenly broken by the emperor acting out of character for the WH universe.
Especially the Custodes since he's kind of been a sort of straight man to the whole thing. Emperor's voice sounds a bit different too, and some of the original lines were better than the new version.
A bit late here but I just realized this when rewatching the old ones: the jokes added in to the intro of the remake don't even work since the fabulous Custodes aren't revealed until episode 7 and the toaster sex until episode 12.
The creator provided an explanation for why the episode was re-made:
First of all; THANKS FOR 30,000 SUBSCRIBERS! Secondly; You may be asking yourself - 'Alfabusa you fucking nerd, why are you remaking the first episode?! Also, where is episode 15!?' N-now, please remain calm, it isn't as it looks like, I can explain, please DON'T LEAVE! You see, I decided to remake episode 1 because I didn't think it properly represented the entirety of the series as a pilot. A pilot-episode is supposed to be the one video that a person can judge the entire series upon and if its worth checking out. As to quote Thunder, it is clear that the first episode was "meant to be a standalone thing" and "made in another age", so in comparison to pretty much all other episodes, especially the later ones - it is very weak. So, after a lot of wailing, I decided that THIS was the right thing to do! But don't worry, the original episode 1 can be found in the description of this video if you for some reason want to check it. Now I'm just hoping this will one day get as many likes as its predecessor. All of your likes are appreciated and will fuel my endless addiction. <3 Oh and episode 15 is practically done, I just need Karl to finish this one scene and then its finito. THANK YOU!•
I think it makes sense.
The creator provided an explanation for why the episode was re-made: I think it makes sense.
the irony is the earlier episodes were way more funny
I like to watch this because even though the humor has fallen off a bit, it's still probably the closest thing I will ever get to the 40k plot ever advancing.
does 40k not have a story? (never played)
The timelines there are measured in hundreds and thousands of years. I'd imagine a story to advance quite slowly.
The timelines there are measured in hundreds and thousands of years. I'd imagine a story to advance quite slowly.
Yeah, but the year 40 999 has gone for quite a while...
Yeah, but the year 40 999 has gone for quite a while...
And nothing really big happened AFAIK (I don't follow very closely). I mean, nothing that would really advance the main plot.
does 40k not have a story? (never played)
it has a backstory, mainly the Horus Heresy, which has been part of the lore for the last twenty real world years at least, but has only started getting some real meat on its bones in the last decade. they're diverting our attention to the past because the current timeline is perpetually stuck in something like 999.999.M41: -Abaddon the Despoiler, Warmaster of Chaos, is launching his 13th Black Crusade ANY MINUTE NOW and is currently assaulting the world of Cadia right outside the Eye of Terror. if he overruns Cadia the forces of Chaos will pour out and THREATEN HOLY TERRA ITSELF OH NO! (he won't) -Tyranid Hive Fleet Leviathan is assaulting the galaxy from "underneath" it and is going to EAT EVERYONE! but wait, it got diverted into Ork space and is currently trying to eat the greenskins in the Octarius sector while the greenskins are trying to WAAAGH! the Hive Fleet. WHICHEVER RACE WINS IS GOING TO COME OUT OF THE WAR SUPEREVOLVED AND SUPERSTRONG AND KILL EVERYONE! (the war's never going to end) -THE NECRONS ARE AWAKENING! If the Silent King manages to unite his undying race they will try to seal off the Warp and thus Chaos by KILLING EVERYONE! (he won't) -as the 13th Black Crusade begins THE TRAITOR PRIMARCHS MIGHT BE RETURNING! but wait, there's more, because the REMAINING LOYALIST PRIMARCHS MIGHT BE COMING BACK TOO! (none of the former or the latter are) -THE GOLDEN THRONE'S LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM IS BEYOND REPAIR! THE EMPEROR WILL DIE! (he won't) and so on, you get the idea. absolutely everything's about to go down and to town but it won't because Games Workshop will never advance the story
does 40k not have a story? (never played)
It has some sorts of current event stuff going on, along with a rather humongous and (depending on who you ask of course) interesting backstory and lore, down to individual's stories and equally meaningless groups tales as well. The main problem is there is so much that is set up to happen in the "near future", primarchs returning on the loyalist/traitor sides, tyranid invasions, a bunch of stuff that could be interesting if GW would take any interest in advancing the story, but they haven't. At least, not at any pace that is fun to get in to.
I wonder if the Blood Ravens are going to be mentioned again, they got teased a few times but then just kinda dropped off, it'd also kind of make sense for them to come up again soon since the Emperor just sent the Ultramarines to find all the Salamanders' lost relics. Also, nice Bionicle reference when mentioning the Tau.
