This is the funniest shit.
That ending, I need to know! I can't wait a month ;~;
The previous episode was released two weeks ago, he's picking up the pace.
I'm not even into Warhammer 40K lore and this is great.
So since GW is run by a bunch of spergs who can't continue a 20+ year old storyline I'm assuming this serious to be 100% canon.
The 1d4chan wiki is the best shit ever if you know some basic Warhammer lore, haven't laughed that much for a long time. The way they describe the various chapters is hilarious.
Read about 40k for some time but i can just imagine what kind of an awesome movie serie it would be. Something among the lines of a true saga of multiple stories. Not sure what the most interesting historic event was in the 40k universe, i could also imagine some immense budget would be required to make it happen. Oh and i heard Workshop is extremely harsh about their 40k license, like that they rarely hand it out.
Oh and i heard Workshop is extremely harsh about their 40k license, like that they rarely hand it out.
this was how I used to see it as well, but in light of recent events... uh... I don't even know what to think.

If they changed things it would no longer be W40K. It makes no sense to continue it, that would completely change the setting and the whole point of it.
I don't think the "Orks believe it so it's true" thing actually happens, there hasn't been any proper confirmation. It's all just speculation from characters in-universe, with the main source (at least i think it's the main one, not too sure on that) of it actually saying in the same paragraph that the person speculating tends to exaggerate a lot.
Orks believe going "dakka dakka" while firing a gun makes it fire faster, and it actually works. Harry Potter is a setting but it still has a story with a beginning and an end. The Lord of the rings is a setting, and it has two main stories going through it. The main storyline in W40k or at least the closest thing we have to it has pretty much been standing still for a while. The emperor has been doing literally jack shit for the entirety of this setting's existence, even the supposed failures of his golden throne have never been exploited whatsoever. The whole thing is currently at a solid halt. It's a huge waste of potential.

Goddamnit that would be awesome but noooo Games Workshop gives the license to Eutechnyx, the developers that made Ride to Hell: Retribution. That's just not fair.
Oh oh oh oh, WH40K game where you play as an ork and you try to gain control and then beef up a WAAAAGH, and you use a scribblenauts style system to make bigga shootas, where the size/effectiveness of your shootas/meks are limited by the size of your WAAAAAAGH.
Couldn't you just imagine your WAAAGH is bigger?
Couldn't you just imagine your WAAAGH is bigger?
that's not how it works

Seriously, Battletech(And its Mechwarrior Counterparts) have been able to do setting and stories perfectly fine and evolved while keeping a similarly themed pragmatic grimness. Its only the fault of Games Workshop for not only writing themselves into a corner but also being unable to accept that settings change.
This makes me want to play Dawn of war again.

I dream of seeing the battle of Istvaan III or the Drop Site Massacre on screen.

I discovered WH40K from watching a video made by that guy months ago
This guy is just so awesome at making these.
i'd be surprised if there wasn't an official quote from an Arbitrator saying just that
If an Ork Mek is going to upgrade a vehicle he's going to give it some red paint when he's done, and there are plenty of differences that can make them faster that wouldn't be noticable. To the other Orks, the only visible change is the paint. There isn't any actual proof that I've seen of Orks actually influencing things around them, just speculation from in-universe characters who aren't entirely reliable.
Aside from the fact that all orks have latent psychic abilities that are only amplified by their numbers, you mean?
Couldn't you just imagine your WAAAGH is bigger?
It needs to be a fairly large amount of orks believing it for it to happen.
It needs to be a fairly large amount of orks believing it for it to happen.
So, trillions?
Couldn't you just imagine your WAAAGH is bigger?
By having a larger concentration of Orks in an area, the gestalt field (or WAAGHHH field) becomes larger as well. That's why larger Waaghs are so dangerous, not because of the mass numbers of orks attacking, but because of the psychic fuckery that is now capable due to that many orks.
Couldn't you just imagine your WAAAGH is bigger?
That's not how it works. When a proppa WAAAGH gets going, the true danger is that all the orks within a couple lightyears become aware that a roit big foight is happenin' ova dere, and without delay immediately hop on any passing Space Hulks, or build 'emselves a good buncha Roks or something and set course for the big shiny WAAAGH
Is it possible that this whole time there was no text-to-speech device and the whole affair has just been the Custodes talking to himself?
Is it possible that this whole time there was no text-to-speech device and the whole affair has just been the Custodes talking to himself?
That'd be a depressing but amazing twist.
Heresy, that'd mean he's been indoctrinated by the order of Chaos and is trying to plot the demise of the Imperium.
Exactly, and that means that this whole thing is going to end in the next episode when the Lord Inquisitor shows up and kills him. Yeah that would make for a pretty depressing plot twist then.
