will it be possible to buy these 3 DLC packs as a standalone?
will it be possible to buy these 3 DLC packs as a standalone?
Yes. It'll work out cheaper to buy the season pass, though I don't know by how much.
I think it would be interesting if there was a character swap mechanic a la GTA5 in this dlc...to control elizabeth and booker at the same time while fighting enemies and opening up warps could make for some crazy fun gameplay if done right.
I like to think they made her smoke as a fuck you to all the deluded waifufags who think she's perfect and pure
but im even more attracted to her when shes smoking ??
Now I want to buy BS:I even more than before.
Oh, and guess what, Booker.
CATCH.
I've always been immensely skeptical of DLC to AAA games but this is hitting all notes perfectly from the looks of it. I figured they might use the [sp]multiverse[/sp] thing to create something interesting in the future, was not disappointed. But also returning to Rapture is just brilliant.
Elizabeth is smoking.. I don't like her anymore.
If you didn't smoke back then you were a bit of an outsider.
[editline]30th July 2013[/editline]
I hope that they can tweak the combat somewhat however. The combat pace in B:I came off as really schizophrenic to me, as if half the dev team was making a swash-buckle Quake-esque with gratifying-to-use spectacular weapons while the other half thought they were making a slower tactic-y cover-based shooter. It wasn't that bad in the original Bioshock.
Looks like my Creator Got me to Smoke dem Cigs but seriously getting To play As 'Liz sounds pretty good if done right

Outsider? I would be totally okay with that.
A new mind-fucking Levine plot? Count me in
See now I hope she sluts it up this time round just to piss off all those Waifu fags even more.
I hope plasmids have the same mechanics as in the original Bioshock. I preferred having my plasmids out all the time to just quickly throwing them out like with vigors. IMO the gameplay of Infinite is easily the worst part of the game.

What? :v:
[sp]I figured this was just an entirely alternate history Liz altogether, who isn't related to the Infinite Liz.[/sp]
EDIT:
Oh didn't read that Ken said that, kinda odd then.
EDIT:
Wait, [sp]how can it be the same Liz if Booker's still there, unless this was a Booker that didn't go to Wounded Knee, in which case didn't sacrifice himself to stop Comstock.[/sp]
EDIT:
[sp]And wait! If this is set in the 1950's wouldn't Booker be like, 40 years older than he was in Infinite? Which puts him at about 60 or 70 years old? Unless, of course, this Booker was born later than other Bookers.[/sp]
God damn this is confusing.
[sp]It can't be a Booker born later, I don't think the multi-verse works like that. Though perhaps this is a universe where Rapture is built slightly earlier and Booker gets in somehow.[/sp]
[sp]Perhaps Elizabeth moved Booker to Rapture at some point and he forgot (due to sharing universe with another Booker)[/sp]
I do wonder how they are going to explain this one. Though they could just ignore explaining it at all and just use it. There's nothing saying it has to tie directly to Infinite.
Constants and variables. The place, the time, the characters change. But there's always a man. There's always a girl. And there's always a city.

If they do, I can totally see feminist "gamer" outrages over it

Feminists can't be "gamers"? Why, are their fedoras not to specified regulations?
I don't know how this game got such good ratings, I can understand it has great graphics and an average to good story etc. But the gun-play and action sequences were so dull and boring. I was just interested in the story and seeing what happened at the end, but these drawn out bland and irritating action scenes stopped me even bothering with this game.
This does come from someone that didn't like Bioshock 1 and 2 so I guess I am just not a Bioshock fan.
You like Infinite for gunplay? It's like liking MW3 for story.

Totally forgot about that line. DLC explained, nerdes calm down.
You like Infinite for gunplay? It's like liking MW3 for story.
It didn't have to be like that though. It was fine in the first Bioshock...
You like Infinite for gunplay? It's like liking MW3 for story.
Well after the really good opening segment, the game becomes a dude-shooter marathon until the next cutscene or scripted segment.
So the gunplay could've been better in that regard.

Waifu fags are already freaking out because their innocent waifu is smoking even though it's not even the same character. And the whole slutting thing I mean acting the whole femme fatale role she seems to have this time round by alluring the main character and other characters so she can use them to her advantage.
Bad wording on my part, sorry.
seems like alternative universe to me
People give Infinite's combat too much shit.
Its not great, but its not abhorrently bad.

The upgrade system didn't work well with the two-weapon system.
It didn't help that "modified" versions almost completely replace the standard versions during the last levels of the game - making you upgrades useless and sticking you with the un-upgraded "modified" versions (That usually suck).
I remember fully upgrading the Hand Cannon so that it got one-hit headshots and other great things. Then the game stopped giving me ammo for it so I had to replace it and never found another one.
That and the plasmids lacked variety.

I haven't even played that much of the game, but it feels like the weekest part of it so it's easy to point to.
