Man fuck DLC in the asshole, I won't say anything as to the quality of it because I'm sure it's fine. But when I buy a game, I should get the whole experience. I shouldn't be forced into spending more money or pre-ordering to have access to all the content. Money grubbing assholes.
you're confusing expansion DLC with day 1 DLC
How dare companies try to provide their workers with a living instead of offering brand new content with countless hours of work put into it for free. Fucking monsters is what they are.
Valve did it with $40 games for free Of course now with microtransactions they're set for life
Am I the only one that thinks Rapture Elizabeth looks ALOT like Sasha Grey?
Rapture Elizabeth is giving off a huge Tenembaum vibe to me.
Yes yes yes yes yes yes. Yes. I'm buying the season pass. Yes.

Money grubbing assholes.
if you said this in a thread that wasn't about bioshock infinite or something, you'd probably get showered in agree ratings dlc is not bad. the only dlc that is bad is dlc not worth buying, like cosmetic items for singleplayer games, or dumb shit in f2p games.
The upgrade system didn't work well with the two-weapon system. It didn't help that "modified" versions almost completely replace the standard versions during the last levels of the game - making you upgrades useless and sticking you with the un-upgraded "modified" versions (That usually suck).
Wait what I remember that late game the Triple R (ie the standard version) actually seemed to replace the Repeater Also on the topic of weapons I tend to go all over the place, as I have a habit of starting a new playthrough before I finish the old one
"there's always a man. There's always a girl. And there's always a city." Who was "the girl" for Rapture before this awesome trailer came out?
"there's always a man. There's always a girl. And there's always a city." Who was "the girl" for Rapture before this awesome trailer came out?
There's Always a Lighthouse, A Man and a city
Personally I love the fact that this makes her look like a badass-grizzled "dame" from the 50's, this looks like noire at its best! The idea of her being a total "look I don't give a fuck how you do it, just get the job done"-type gal is awesome.
But when I buy a game, I should get the whole experience.
You did.
So I have a season pass when I got the game on the first day. Will all the dlc's be free or I will have to pay them at a lower price ? Just making sure here.
I'm probably not the first to say this (and not the last) but Irrational Games had become my favorite developer for story-based games. It used to be Valve, but they haven't come out with anything like that in a VERY long time, which makes me sad. I've literally had no interest in the past three games they've produced.
This looks great. I hope she undid(?) her cup size adjustment for this DLC.
This looks great. I hope she undid(?) her cup size adjustment for this DLC.
wait what?
wait what?
He means he wants bigger boobs.
Waifu fags are already freaking out because their innocent waifu is smoking even though it's not even the same character. And the whole slutting thing I mean acting the whole femme fatale role she seems to have this time round by alluring the main character and other characters so she can use them to her advantage. Bad wording on my part, sorry.
Oh god I need a source on this, it sounds hilarious.
carbine/ handcannon master race
Handcannon is easily the best, with carbine for practicality, or shotgun for fun factor!
"there's always a man. There's always a girl. And there's always a city."
Why does everyone morph the quote into this? The girl part was never in that quote yet everyone seems to incorporate it.
Why does everyone morph the quote into this? The girl part was never in that quote yet everyone seems to incorporate it.
It's kinda like how everybody quotes "Beam me up, Scotty" or "Luke, I am your father" despite the former never being said in official material and the latter being a misquote. I guess it's because having the 'girl' kinda makes sense sorta and it's a nice 'opposite' to the "there's always a man" part. I dunno.
I don't know how this game got such good ratings, I can understand it has great graphics and an average to good story etc. But the gun-play and action sequences were so dull and boring. I was just interested in the story and seeing what happened at the end, but these drawn out bland and irritating action scenes stopped me even bothering with this game. This does come from someone that didn't like Bioshock 1 and 2 so I guess I am just not a Bioshock fan.
"Dull and BORING" "AVERAGE TO GOOD STORY" Bioshock all around has a very above average story, no matter how much "Boring" the game is. Have you even beat the game? The ending DEFINES what a good story is all about. Fuck, do you even understand what the stories meaning is? i really don't see how you can call the story average when no other a"average" story really exists like it. You know, the kind well after the game was made that wasn't even a thing when the game was released, and actually has NEW content, is secondary to the story at most. no, just the DLC that actually IS "Evil" "Horrible" "GREEDY", like 15$ for 3 maps, or 20$ to unlock everything in a game. or day 1 DLC that has shitload of actual needed story info. 1 day DLC for a character, etc.
Why does everyone morph the quote into this? The girl part was never in that quote yet everyone seems to incorporate it.
Just so you know, I was just copying the quote from someone else's post in this thread. I haven't thought about Infinite since March and no one called the guy I quoted out so those are my reasons for slipping.
[Sp] So this either has to be before the drowning, or an alternate universe right? Infinite was kind of confusing for me but I thought they tied everything up. [/sp]
[Sp] So this either has to be before the drowning, or an alternate universe right? Infinite was kind of confusing for me but I thought they tied everything up. [/sp]
[sp]Unlimited alternating universes means unlimited possibilities[/sp]
Why does everyone morph the quote into this? The girl part was never in that quote yet everyone seems to incorporate it.
The girl part doesn't even make sense either since there was no girl in bioshock 1, just the man and the city
[sp]Unlimited alternating universes means unlimited possibilities[/sp]
[Sp] so..there wasn't really an ending? I'm quite confused now[/sp]
[Sp] so..there wasn't really an ending? I'm quite confused now[/sp]
[sp]Yes there was, but, /unlimited/ means a lot of things really, I'd assume in most, if not all the ending happened that way, but, we'll see[/sp]
[Sp] So this either has to be before the drowning, or an alternate universe right? Infinite was kind of confusing for me but I thought they tied everything up. [/sp]
[sp]The drowning only killed Comstock. All instances of him. Booker himself was thusly reset to the point where all the inter-universe shenanigans began: In his office, with Anna in the crib, and with a second chance to live his life better this time, as the after-credits scene shows.[/sp]
[sp]The drowning only killed Comstock. All instances of him. Booker himself was thusly reset to the point where all the inter-universe shenanigans began: In his office, with Anna in the crib, and with a second chance to live his life better this time, as the after-credits scene shows.[/sp]
The problem with this is that this should-be alternate Booker has the "AD" mark on his hand. [sp]This means that Booker have had Anna taken away (because he carved the letters into his hand out of guilt for losing Anna), which means that the Booker in this DLC must've been somehow pulled into the Rapture universe from the same universe that Bioshock Infinite begins within (because no other versions of Booker other than the ones who have had lost Anna would've had the AD signature)? I suppose one could just assume that Booker could've ended up in Rapture on his own volition in any of the possible universes where (minus the 112 + 1 universes where the Lutece's recruited him)[/sp]
I think we're way overthinking this. [sp]Booker is in Rapture because, well, that's where and when a man called Booker DeWitt exists in that particular universe. Why rope in theories about how he must've been dragged there from Columbia or something? We have clearly seen that the alternative universes don't necessarily "line up" in time, because Elizabeth opens a portal to an alternative Paris in the 80s, among other things.[/sp]
