Most anticipated game in history? Holy shit, what a huge fucking understating joke. Ruined the entire trailer by just saying that.
Game looks fun...just, you know, nothing really new
I like how the thread picture is 'Humor'.
I like how it was released the same day as Battlefield 3 Launch Trailer and it was overshadowed
I laughed.
To be honest, I think that the singleplayer campaign would be pretty fun, just, you know, very short.
The most anticipated game IN HISTORY
This is the launch trailer? Wow, not that impressive really.
Okay this just occurred to me, how the hell does this guy manage to attack so many different nations at once, isn't he just like a terrorist how could he even come close to pulling that off? That being said I've got no idea why I'm looking into the Modern Warfare plot line expecting to get a coherent story.
You wont be able to use those tanks silly CoD fans. :v:
Someone should start a new franchise, but put a 3 on the end of the title and call it "THE NEXT CHAPTER IN THE WORLDWIDE PHENOMENON" to see how many people they can fool

Pretty sure from the plot leak the [sp]chemical and biological attacks[/sp] done on the major cities of Europe wasn't Makarov but the Ultranationalist government.
The only reason i enjoy mw series is because of the campaign story. The rest is just shit.

It's not Makarov whose doing the invading- he's pitting 2 enemies against each other. He was part of the new Russian government but believed the leaders to be corrupt and weak, so he brought the US and Russia to war. They're trying to find him because if they can, then they can prove he was the one who committed the massacre, and then end the war. Or that's how I understand it.
I always found the campaigns for CoD somewhat fun, even if they were short But this time I watched the BF3 Launch trailer a few days before so I felt absolutely nothing [editline]23rd October 2011[/editline]
;32923604']From what I understand, the No Russian level in MW2 convinced the Russians that the CIA committed the massacre, so diplomacy broke down in an already broken relationship between the US and Russia (remember American and British forces fought against the Ultranationalists during the civil war in CoD4, who eventually won), which led to the Russians getting so pissed that they said "fuck you" and retaliated. Fuck the BF3 fans. This is the best shooter out there.
World War 3? MORE LIKE MODERN WARFARE 3! We're edgy man!
To be honest, I think that the singleplayer campaign would be pretty fun, just, you know, very short.
thats what I'm thinking, I'm going to rent it and play the spec-ops with some friends, but I'm not even going to touch the horror that calls itself "Multiplayer mode"
"Most anticipated game in history." -Activision.
I expected this trailer to have an Eminem song like they did with CoD MW2
I stopped the anticipation of new COD games since MW2
Bf3 will be better but the cliff hanger in mw2 is telling me to get it.
To be honest, I think that the singleplayer campaign would be pretty fun, just, you know, very short.
Shoot Shoot more Shoot even more Explosion Helicopter crash Dramatic death of fallen comrade Explosion The end.
If anything it's worth renting just for the singleplayer if you're into that sort of stuff.
I think this game will be pretty nice. I like how the new co-op modes look, and the singleplayer is gonna be atleast somewhat good.
The thing stopping me from buying this game is the community. I'd want to play the mutliplayer, but I know it will just be full of tweenagers spewing 'nigger' all of the time.
You wont be able to use those tanks silly CoD fans. :v:
Yeah, probably not :(
I really like the story mode to Call of Duty. Even though its just a Hollywood film, I like Hollywood films. Also, I hate how everybodys reason for MW3 being better than BF3 is that MW3 has more pre orders and will sell better. That doesn't mean the games better. I showed a friend the BF3 Multiplayer trailer which was jizz cumingly worthy and said talk to you later CoD, and then a friend was like, who cares MW3 will sell more anyway. Just annoys me.
Number of sales doesn't count much imo. You have dozens, nay, hundreds or thousands of games that haven't sold much but still managed to get more reputation simply by being really good. Like Demon Souls. You know what i mean. There's the "good reputation" and the "bad reputation", and COD have had the latter since COD4 in my books.
