Anyone knows if this is pre-rendered or scripted ingame footage?

I'm really hoping this game turns out good. The concept itself is something I really like but if it doesn't have the gameplay to back it up then it'll be for naught.
Living in Chicago it's pretty fun to look at the released gameplay footage and see streets I know. In the first gameplay reveal at last year's E3 the car crash was about a block away from my college, give or take a few blocks they removed.
Shame they didn't recreate downtown 1:1. It would've been really cool if they did. They took out some main streets, removed and/or moved around some iconic skyscrapers, and added some island to the left of the Loop. that restaurant reminded me of the milk bar from a clockwork orange
I love how up close and personal this game feels from that trailer. I hope that you can choose to follow these types of leads whenever you want. Just imagine walking down the street and seeing "Child Molester Freed By Loophole" or "Escaped Convict" and just following them until you can pounce. That's the type of depth that would ascend this from a video game to true art.
vimeo doesn't even fucking work [editline]10th June 2013[/editline] youtube embed videos and vimeo don't work for me
At the scale I was watching it, I had a hard time figuring out whether it was CGI or real world footage. That's impressive in itself Would much rather have seen actual in-game footage though
He stopped the nostalgia critic from making anymore movies in his secret underground studio.

Fuck man doug walker from the future is an asshole. But seriously, this is how you present a game. You give us tons of gameplay trailers, THEN you show us a hype cgi trailer. Not the other way around.
I had it full screen and I still thought it was live-action until I saw the guy's coat moving.
i keep thinking you would be able to fake situations in the future with cgi tech and get people in trouble.
Took me way too long to realize it was CGI
Wow... a game I'm actually hyped for. Don't I feel special now.
Good timing for this to come out, what with all the NSA scandal news floating about.
this game would be a lot more interesting if you couldn't use guns i hope that ends up being a viable playing option
this game would be a lot more interesting if you couldn't use guns i hope that ends up being a viable playing option
Didn't they show gameplay where you could be nonlethal and sneaky?
Fuck Vimeo. :p
Fuck Vimeo. :p
No because Vimeo is better then youtube just unfortunately less popular.
No because Vimeo is better then youtube just unfortunately less popular.
I'd say that the average video quality on vimeo is a bit better because there's a lot of rad indie short films that wouldn't get off the ground on youtube
this game would be a lot more interesting if you couldn't use guns i hope that ends up being a viable playing option
The devs said that it's possible to do most of the stuff without guns, but they don't expect the player to be able to go through the entire game without firing a shot
No because Vimeo is better then youtube just unfortunately less popular.
Nah, It's just me being acting butthurt not able to play video on there. So I can manipulate you into giving me dumb ratings. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
Hot damn, that was awesome.

The reason this is a better way to do it is because your cgi trailer will actually reflect gameplay instead of just imagination.
I'd say that the average video quality on vimeo is a bit better because there's a lot of rad indie short films that wouldn't get off the ground on youtube
I'm not talking about the content I'm talking about the player, it's fucking great.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
haha memes lol
Wow that's a cool trailer. I don't know how I feel about the intense action, I hope it is at least a little optional. I mean, I want to have a playthrough where I try to be a little undetectable instead of going in and killing pretty much everyone. Otherwise, I can't wait until this comes out!
Dont worry, there was an interview with gameplay and the devs really emphasized being able to go guns blazing, sneak, or do everything by just hacking.
The same uploader released this too, holy shit two games I'm now buying. http://vimeo.com/67989405 (embedding wont work)
