1v7 against bots.
I have no idea what I'm looking at.
It reminds me of a colony of ants in some ways.
I remember playing vs AI with friends, it's so fucking hard to beat them on harder difficulties because they kinda cheat like crazy. That's why it takes so long to finish a game.

Players' production of gold-requiring units grinds to a near halt, while the AI enemy just uses cheats to add gold to their stockpile and keeps churning out units. Thank god for alternative AIs from the workshop that don't cheat :v:
Mind sharing the demo file if you made one ?

I used to do a ton of 2v2 on AoE 2 and Galactic Battlegrounds, those matches would go on for ages. My trick was to spam priests ASAP to grab the relics, if not for the victory then for reliable gold after the deposits dried up after the first hour. Failing that, it was always good to have a civ that could build units without using gold.
1v7? meh we did 4v3 on a lan party once, the match lasted about 14 hours i think, i gave up at 5 in the end, no resources were left, no animals, no rocks, no gold, no wood, and trade embargos were on full steam everything was expensive as shit, and nobody attacked anyone, it was just pure chaos
Would have been better if you showed the whole screen, but seriously that takes some skill haha. I think I managed to win against hard bots on starcraft 2 once as protoss because they kept sending units into my photon cannons so they eventually ran out of resources from the whole map.

Guess the "Dark Forest" map setup helps a lot. [sp]Longbowman ftw[/sp]

We were both kinda shit, but I was in between him and the enemy and I got rolled, ended up just turtling in my friend's base and we slowly advanced our mighty wall of castles to their base to win. A pvp match I had with him also turned into a turtling war... With walls of castles between us and a deadly no man's land.
nothing better than rise of nations when the game has been going for hours and both you and the ai research AI at the same time you are weak and tired and the bot is a machine that will spam units more efficiently than you ever could click
Reminds me in 90s when I hooked up on LSD with my stepfather.
