Why do people dislike RAM so much? Is it because it doesn't sound like Homework or Discovery? Must artists always confine themselves to what they began with so they can conform to your shallow tastes? I like RAM as much as Homework, Moroder is one of my favorites, if not the, of the album
I don't like it not because the type of Music has gone from Electro to whatever it wants, (while it is a bit disappointing). But because they kinda take a bit of a backseat in the songs. Like Get Lucky, they start to sing halfway through the song, and even then they just repeat the same Lyrics, then they stop after a minute. Same with Lose yourself to Dance. I feel like it's more "Lose yourself to Dance Ft. Daft Punk" Or "Get Lucky Ft. Daft Punk" I am not against them trying out new Music styles but they really just felt more like an after thought, which is really weird when it's their own Album. I do know they just sing the same lyrics over and over in the other albums but that was just went it was Daft Punk, no one else, so the emphasis was on them.
if you lose your way tonight that's how you know the magic's right
which songs?
...Are you serious? Contact Doing It Right The latter half of Motherboard The last 2 and a half minutes of Touch Giorgio is more disco inspired but it's still house. The Game of Love is basically Something About Us just with an authentic bass. The whole album is more disco inspired obviously, but you'd have to be fucking deaf to not hear the very familiar style in like, the majority of songs.

People are just disappointed that RAM wasn't Discovery 2. There's nothing wrong with that.

In order to be considered house it has to at least have a four on the floor beat. The only song you listed that comes close to that is Giorgio. [editline]11th January 2017[/editline] Yes they have a similar sound, but most of the album is nowhere close to house.
I thought RAM was a great album, Much better than Human After All. While i was one of those people that expected Very Disco 2 and all, But honestly it was a great album and was a awesome flavor of what influenced them to make music.
