Oh god the loading times on this game are fucking atrocious. I never got past the second place you go to either.
Ahhh you guys I have been so busy, lately. I hope you like the new video, though! Crazy to think that about a year ago I did the first LEGO Island. Insane what can happen in just a year's time!
Moose have you played Lego Backlot?
Moose have you played Lego Backlot?
Never even heard of it.

I think I played that one, was it in browser? I don't remember much about it other than being able to get over a wall you aren't supposed to and going somewhere that's all glitchy.

It was an old shockwave game on the lego website where you played a lego dude and do stuff in a movie studio lot. It's quite good even now IMO.
You can play it here http://web.archive.org/web/20100629035233/http://www.lego.com/eng/play/games/backlot/LegoMovieMakers.asp?LaunchStartupScreen=1.
I used to play Backlot all the time when I was younger for some reason.
I've played Xtreme Stunts. I think it has the same island (more or less) from the second game, but has about 4 minigames. That's it.

I used to play Backlot on the Lego website as well as this other thing. I can't remember its name but it was a pseudo social networking thing where everybody you interacted with were NPCs. You had to get ingredients to craft recipes to complete missions but they were limited in some way (I can't remember how, maybe daily drops?) and was tied really closely to the Builder IDs they still have on the Lego site. It was kind of like Neopets but with lego people.
Don't think I didn't notice Coach Z in there, Moose. I did.

MY LEGO NETWORK
I played that shit so goddamn much. I checked on the website today when I was finding backlot and I don't think it's supported that much now. You can still play it, but nothing new is gonna come to it.
You could add other real people to your friends list but the only messages were canned messages.
Any news for a upcoming stream with moose?

No wonder you're called Legolover. Shit. I didn't know anybody else who even fucking knew what My Lego Network was.
Also, Pepper's Pizza makes me dribble.
I can't play backlot, it wants to me download something I already just downloaded for it.
Hey moose, have you ever tried Space Station 13? For some reason I feel like it'd be right up your alley.
I'd be the first one to recommend SS13 but I'm not sure about it being up Moose's alley. It's a refined taste, like a delicate yet forceful spessman wine.

Yeah, I got this when I tried to replay it, but you have to get a really old version of Shockwave for it to work. Like, really old. I found it on a forum thread after googling it but I can't remember which version it was now.
[editline]-[/editline]
Shockwave 8.5. Das da one.

Have you completely shut down chrome? Refreshing just asks for me to download it again on chrome.
brutal
can you please narrate my life
I swear, your voice is just mm mm mm so good.
The latest video was awesome to watch because I was hungry and pizza.
Are you trying to suggest that it's too HARDCORE for Divine Lord God Emperor Brooty Mootykins?
I feel that our all powerful lord would have his figurative anus figuratively pounded by literal traitorous monkey spacemen within minutes.
Ahh, Lego Island 2. I naively enjoyed this back in the days after i lost the first one.
And if you're goig to do another Lego game at any point, Please make it Rock Raiders.

Rock raiders was the shit. I would upgrade my dudes and give them names of people I knew and then went into first person mode and fucked about.
I wish lego or whoever developed/published these games would make an effort to make them freely available or put them on gog.com or something. I love the old lego games, but I can't play them because I don't have my disk, disks are expensive to buy, and I can't exactly use other methods of obtaining them either.
