Wow these look... fascinating. I wonder how long they are? I'm assuming streaming a dating sim can't be all that entertaining, so I don't want to spend tooooo much time on it.
Sorry, I'm busy that day.
But I didn't even tell you whe-
Oh. I get it.
I'm going to check out every one of these games, I'm sure. Every single one.
Also, question: Anyone know of some ridiculous dating sims? I'm thinking of streaming one on valentines day, then moving on to something else, probably.
Super Deep Throat.
Hey Moose, what do you think about the Tropico Series? It's like a black comedy, tounge in cheek Sim City game.
Only instead of a city you manage a Banana Republic in the Caribbean.
The two that immediately come to mind are Paca Plus, and Hatoful Boyfiend.

I heard someone said Pacaplus.
It takes itself kinda seriously compared to pigeon simulator, but it does have a lovely bit of engrish and I don't recall it being that long. (Yes I ended up playing through it)

There's a trial here and it costs like $10.
Also there's no alpaca based porn in it.
On that note, this is the opening.

What if I give you several hundred teddy bears and repeat dialogue with you until I find the right option?
What about jurassic heart?

I'll definitely look into these games. I'll probably spend the bulk of the time playing something else, but I thought doing something Valentine's Day themed would be fun.

My roommate freshman year of college played that game a ton. It looked pretty interesting, but I never actually played it, myself.

still waiting for that deep throat video man
Brutalmoose is about to go postal on some dudes.

he's playing postal 2 right, is it the update with the wall of postal asses?
It's a shame he isn't enjoying postal 2 that much.
Moose man, you kept going in circles and ignoring chat when they were trying to help you :(
Ah well it's not a game for everyone.

I can imagine the game is hard to talk and navigate for the first time. Maybe he'll enjoy it more without chat.

i found the game pretty boring too. the style of humor really annoyed me, i always felt like it was trying to be duke nukem but it wasn't executed as well.

I wonder why
"PRESS R MOOSE"
"PRESS R GOD DAMN IT"
"R AND MOUSE 1 NOW FUCK"
That was the most horrendously clueless playthrough of POSTAL 2 I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing. If you can't figure out how to have fun in a game where the simple task of getting milk from the store can range from merely waiting in line to pay five dollars all the way to playing fetch with your befriended guard dogs using the decapitated heads of the Taliban fighters you sliced up, set on fire, and then urinated on for good measure after stumbling into their secret terrorist base during a thwarted robbery attempt, then there just isn't hope for you.
The game offers you the ability to do anything you want in a free roam, open world for a reason. Hint: That reason isn't to treat everything like a contrived, labored chore that you must slog through.

He got stuck in the cat pen for like 5 minutes while people were screaming "Q TO KICK!"

I'm sorry, i know he posts here, but he was genuinely lost throughout most of the playthrough while the chat was trying to help him desperately. Not to mention the game literally tells you these exactly controls when you start.
Moose you're awesome to play TF2 with.

Unfortunately, with Twitch's dumb chat lag, it's a bit hard to engage. I know everyone is behind me by a good amount of time, so I kind of don't check as much as I did in previous streams. It's kind of an unconscious decision, and I know I missed some advice from the chat. My bad!

Wow, you are unnecessarily upset, in my opinion. Nobody said I didn't have fun with it, but I certainly was having trouble grasping the concept. For a game that presents itself as a week-long narrative, there's not much story to go on, which is what I was searching for. It wasn't that I didn't have fun, it was just strange to me. Excuse me for going towards objectives when I was presented objectives, I suppose I can see how that came across as unreasonable. And the fact that the strange Taliban fight scenes and church shoot-ups had no effect/consequences whatsoever in the game? Yeah, how could I not find that absolutely enthralling and captivating? Perhaps it's just the game's sense of humor isn't universal? Nah.. can't be... it must be my horrendously clueless playthrough.
Hint: I think you're kind of being a dick.

Yeah, that was my bad. I thought I had somehow glitched somewhere I wasn't supposed to be able to go, and had figured out how to glitch in/out of places. Turns out, that was not the case. I got it eventually, though! Again, the chat delay is really a problem for me... I hope they get it fixed some time. I don't want to just stand still for 30 seconds to a minute every time I want advice from the chat, you know?
Anyway, got some criticism for just trying to drink, play games, and have a good time, which is fine. But I hope some people had fun, as I did. It was fun to stream, since I haven't in a while.

Try streaming on http://www.hitbox.tv/
It's a smaller site, but it has the majority of the features on twitch and it doesn't have that horrendous 30s-60s delay.
I checked in for a bit but it was like 4 am for me so I went to sleep pretty quickly

I can't stay mad at you man. I'm just rather protective of this game, i was happy to see you play it but got frustrated too easily.
Besides postal 2 really is what you make it. I hope you play it on your off time some day again and figure it out so you can enjoy it much more.
Especially now that facepunch became an intergral part of this 10 year old update.

Don't worry guys, I didn't like Postal 2 at first either. The level design is really fucking confusing sometimes, and sucks all the fun right out of the game if you're going in circles.
It usually consisted of me trying to play it, running in circles 20 minutes, getting frustrated and a headache and quitting.
Although for some reason now I play it and can have lots of fun.

Yeah but I do have subs on twitch that expect me to stream there... idk, maybe I'll give it a shot next time.

Oooh, I didn't know Facepunch was involved with the update. Kind of explains why some people were overreacting a bit, I know that people from here can be very... passionate about things haha
I think that people are forgetting one thing about brutalmoose.
When he's drunk, he's entirely incapable of preforming any function other than kickflips and taking his shirt off.
Yeah, this is also important to remember, haha. I haven't exactly proven myself capable at any game after drinking. That and I knew absolutely nothing about the game before starting.
Anyway, I still had fun! I'll have to do it again some time, but right now I'm in recovery mode lol
