I thought it was kind of common knowledge to do this in passwords, anyway?
there are very few sites i am a part of where they have you do that, the requiring a # i mean. i absolutely hate it as i try to keep my passwords similar-ish to each other so they are easy for me to remember, but then having a # fucks it up and i have to go through the whole retrieving password crap just to find out it was "[password]1". may be just me though next video you do though of HE games, i hope its pajama sam

Ah, well. And MAYBE. If I decide to do another HG game.
Will the Pajama Sam Rave make another appearance during a stream?
Will the Pajama Sam Rave make another appearance during a stream?
You never know when a Pajama Sam Rave might happen. They're wild and unpredictable.
I loved the episode, but that cameo really felt forced and didn't need to be there
I thought it was kind of common knowledge to do this in passwords, anyway?
This does not mean it should be forced.
The cameo was actually written in just like any other part of the script (though his impression of me was improvisation). Some people liked it, others didn't. It happens. Hope there were other parts of it you enjoyed, though!
I think this might be part of the problem I had. Since cameos involve more people than just you, video style between the two changes, resulting in a different vibe despite the identical writing style. Also as HyperTails mentioned, it didn't add anything in a significant way like Yungtown did in the guilty pleasures video. I don't want to clutter the thread on the subject, so once I've better pinpointed what felt off, would you mind if I send you a PM? Thanks for taking feedback so well.
I loved the episode, but that cameo really felt forced and didn't need to be there
Well, I hope the rest of the video made up for it.
This does not mean it should be forced.
I didn't actually set it up to be that way (I didn't set up the site at all), but I don't really see the issue. Kind of seems like it's up to the host to decide. But that's just me.
I think this might be part of the problem I had. I basically gave him my before and after lines and let him come up with how he'd respond. He gave me a lot to choose from, and that's what I picked. I get that some people aren't a fan of it, and that's cool. I don't regret putting it in there, though, because it made me laugh. As with any other part of my videos, if you didn't like that specific part, I hope the rest of it was still enjoyable. The larger my fanbase grows, the more "you can't please everyone" is taking effect. All I can hope for is that overall, you had some laughs and it was worth the time you invested in watching it. I appreciate the feedback, though! If you'd like to hit me up with more specifics, feel free to shoot me a PM.
The site is pretty cool, i dont have any huge complaints about it and i like the format. I think ill be visiting it for awhile.
Man I remember Spy Fox, I used to love that game! Also, I didn't mind the cameo at all, it was quick and the last line of Caddicarus actually made me chuckle.
your videos really are getting better. i already like you more than PBG.
I didn't really mind the Cameo thing that much, I just felt that it was a tad bit over done. Other than that it made me laugh my ass off throughout the video and bought up some nostalgic feels. Although I didn't really play Spy Fox that much and mostly played Pajama Sam while getting stuck in the same place for four hours with the music eventually driving me insane.
I still have spy fox on CD, it's probably in the same box my old IBM is.
"My foxy nemesis" God damnit, someone's undoubtedly written slash-fiction based on that one line.
Ok, I'm sorry, moose, but I swear that Undercover Cop Joe was you playing Steve Buscemi in 30 Rock. His character practically said the same line ("hello fellow youths"). Tell me I'm right so I can squee that you're accepting your Buscemi-ness.
Speaking on passwords, I feel you really should just allow people to have whatever passwords they want; let the onus be on them to choose a strong password, don't enforce it.
Speaking on passwords, I feel you really should just allow people to have whatever passwords they want; let the onus be on them to choose a strong password, don't enforce it.
I think one of the reasons some places enforce a strong password is because having to deal with someone who had their account stolen sounds like a lot of work. It's not only protecting the user, but it's protecting the owner from having to go through that bullshit. But, like I said, I didn't set that part up, anyway.
As compuational preformance improves so does the reduced amount of time to crack a password. You can use a dictionary or bruteforce attack using gpu with a few thousand cores.
As compuational preformance improves so does the reduced amount of time to crack a password. You can use a dictionary or bruteforce attack using gpu with a few thousand cores.
Sounds like a good time to stop talking about passwords, then.
Hey moose, have you ever thought about a release schedule? Something like a video every other sunday, or something? I would totally understand if you wouldn't want to do that, it doesn't sound very appealing to me, but it might give me something to look forward to on sundays.
I'm pretty sure he said before he just releases them when it's done.
That's pretty much what I expected, but I meant if he had ever thought about working with a release schedule.

I'm trying to get things out weekly, if I can, but sometimes life (and stupid motherfucking broken goddamn USB ports) gets in the way.

Just keep making good videos. I'd rather wait a long time for a video like yours than a week for a video you didn't put your full effort into.
Undercover cop Joe has a real selling point. I would take the opportunity to turn it into something big. I love these videos.
I feel like those AGs invoke the best of your humor. I'm also searching so hard for that version of the clarinet polka.
I thought the cameo was really cool, so did my mate who I was watching it with, he really likes your vids too moose.

People have taken to him pretty well. Not sure if he'll ever show up again, but who knows? If I ever go to a convention, I'm totally doing some Undercover Cop Joe cosplay, though. Easiest costume ever.
I feel like those AGs invoke the best of your humor. I subscribed back when the original topic was posted and I saw the lego land video. I havent really followed up, but wow, you look so much hotter with the shorter hair I think. Also brilliant editing. I've noticed you're gotten more sophisticated with it, and it pays off, great timing with many of the cuts.
