I'm actually kind of ready to get back to work, though. Tired, but I haven't had to think about videos for a few days. Guess it's time to finally try Five Nights at Freddy's.
Hooooo snap son!
Five nights seems like it might make good Lightning Round material but it was kind of a one-time deal where it quickly dropped out of relevance, so making a video on it now might not be worth the effort. I'm no expert, though.

Yeah, it's not dead at all, just getting a bad rep because it almost has the stank of "pewdiebait" that's all. Whether Ian get's scared or not doesn't really matter, it's still a unique as hell game.
If you want to watch Moose on the Friendzone Panel at PAX (Since people dont tend to click links, I embedded it)

Is Ian Ready for Freddy?
The time I spent on the ridiculously popular FNaF thread was time spent reading all about the game's mechanics and exactly how animatronic A or B would act in C situation, and all sorts of other knowledge and expectations to have when jumping into what is supposed to be a game that leaves you in the dark and surprises you. Occassionally there was some mildly interesting lore, but it didn't amount to much in my opinion when interactivity in the game is so limited. I thought this was a pretty good assessment, perhaps not exactly of the game itself, but of the hit-and-miss mindset surrounding it. Great job making another video definitely worth a watch. [editline]when[/editline] Really enjoying the censorship tool recently, huh, Moose?
Really enjoying the censorship tool recently, huh, Moose?
Dude you don't even know. My goal for my next video is to not have to censor anything and to not talk about sex or porn or anything like that. (he says as he plays Sims 4 and makes his sim WooHoo as much as possible)
Is Ian Ready for Freddy?
Apparantly, Ian was ready. Also I agree with Ian in that the problem with the game is reading into the popularity but not buying and trying out the game itself before diving into the fanbase. Although I think Jesse Cox said it best, the better part of the game is the pre jump scare, the part where you looking into the cameras and sometimes the animatronics are staring back, is genuinly creepy and unsettling, and overall good at driving up anxiety the closer they get. If you didn't know already Ian, the creator of the game did say he's working on a sequel, maybe if we did away with the jumpscares, and add something that was even more terrifying when they caught you to really amp up the anxiety to just not get caught, then that would make this game better. Otherwise, it's just overall refreshing for this game to not just be another jumpscare Slender clone.

So playing TF2 with Moose was good fun. Turned into Engifest 2014 towards the end.

Actually, that would take too much effort.
Moose do you still play Civ 5 by chance? I've been playing alot of it recently, and I'm thinking we should have a Mooseketeer's Civ game.
im gonna need some links of that porn in that video... You know, Research reasons!
Try Artificial Academy 2 [editline]7th September 2014[/editline] its a simulator game about school, like homework, staying in shape and making friends
it's also a game where you can play as a teacher and force students into learning and studying proper with extra credit after class lessons
Is Ian Ready for Freddy?
Kind of bugs me how he talks about "getting his money's worth" when the game's like two bucks. I know it's just a common phrase and all but in this type of game money is an important factor in the overall quality of the title, and for two bucks, it's definitely worth checking out.
Dude you don't even know. My goal for my next video is to not have to censor anything and to not talk about sex or porn or anything like that.
Unsubbed.

Hopefully now that he'll have recognition, he can refine the concepts a bit. We'll see.
Moose do you still play Civ 5 by chance? You know, Research reasons!
Just search for it on Tumblr, that's what I did.
Kind of bugs me how he talks about "getting his money's worth" when the game's like two bucks. What I was trying to say is that since it was over saturated, I didn't get any scares, making it not worth the price tag for me. Honestly, it wasn't really worth any money to me at that point, because there was just no way I was going to get spooked. For five bucks I definitely think it's worth checking out... assuming you haven't done too much research on the game.
Also just to make it funny for Ian, Scott Crawthorn, creator of FN@F, previously made alot of Christian games. So I would call this the third time you've gotten close to Christan gaming. Only this time it was a game about killer animatrons.

Time to bump this thread again to ask Moose how is he doing lately and if there's any progress on new videos soon. :v: So sup Moose?
-snip, I was thinking of shredded moose-
Wait, isn't this the guy who made all those edgy webcomics? I'm sure I'm the 400th person to ask that in this thread.
Brutal does reviews of games :v:
Time to bump this thread again to ask Moose how is he doing lately and if there's any progress on new videos soon. :v: So sup Moose?
Hey, sorry for not posting here recently, guys. I'm hoping to finish up a video today, so be on the lookout for that in the next day or two. I'm not too sure how funny it is, it was kind of a hard script to write, but the game is so obscure and weird I wanted to show it off anyway. Also I know it's been a while, but things over here have been a little eeeeeh. Nothing super horrible, I just kind of got some news that something horrible might be happening within the next week or so, so I've been crazy anxious, and it's hard to try and deal with that and work at the same time. Powering through, though! Anyway, be on the lookout for an Original hitting soon, followed by a Lighting Round or two probably, I've got some games I'd like to cover in that format. And I've picked out the game for my next full video, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be great.
