i disagree with his opinion on the digital trips - i got a lot more enjoyment out of 'alone' rather than the spider tank one. alone basically feels like this really bizarre and otherworldly i am legend.

AJ did not shame people for enjoying the game, the mechanics and gameplay of which he praised, he shamed people for giving it high review scores and for accepting the idea that it is ok for a tiny section of a game to be ripped out and sold at such an absurd price.
And by allowing the scummy practice found in MGS:GZ to be accepted and rated highly in reviews the gaming industry is being brought down in a manner of speaking.
You can say whatever you want but don't be surprised if you get called out for spouting a load of gibberish.

when I said "ruining it for the rest of us" that was a direct quote from him, talking about other players playing and enjoying the game. Fuck that shit. I'm not gonna let you or him tell me to stop enjoying GZ, same way I'm not telling you to stop enjoying Angry Joe.
His point is OK because the game isn't sold at full price and was always intended for fans. That's like the purpose of it existing. I appreciate the point he's making but GZ is not the solid example of it that he's looking for.

He jumped into ground zeroes as his first mgs game and the idiot didnt even know who gaz is and was pissed off because of it. Its like watching the last part of lord of the rings and bitching that the characters are rushed and dont know their motives.
