http://www.indiana.edu/~intell/flynneffect.shtml yes it is true that people are getting unhealthier over time but people are getting smarter. If you notice science is becoming a bigger thing to are culture and beliefs that come from critical thought are also increasing like belief in evolution.

So only stupid people believe in evolution? you need to explain your post better.
So only stupid people believe in evolution?
Yeah and only stupid people call evolution a belief.
By belief I meant something someone believes. it doesnt matter if its true are not if someone believes in it it is a belief. Its a belief that happens to have tons of evidence supporting it but still a belief.
I'm never getting a vaccinated again under my will-power. Not because of this video but because of this: Seriously guys. Why the fuck get the flu vaccine? My mom got it and she got the flu TWICE this year alone, yes 2011. She got the vaccine back in the fall.

The reason why she got it was because the not as common versions of the flue got her.

I still don't see why we, as a society, have to sacrifice so much of our resources, time, and money to give out a vaccine for a virus that might or might not affect us. And even if it did it's not life-threatening. Granted, the elderly and pregnant are another story, but people in their teens, 20s, and even in their 50s shouldn't bother. You meant virus right? Vaccines build immunity to viruses, not bacteria. You get antibiotics for bacteria to prevent infections and such. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] Also, get the flu, drink lots of water. It's the only "cure". The flu virus multiplies like most viruses and dehydrates your cells, which is why you feel like shit. Sort of like how you are hung over (headaches and such). When you are hung over, you are dehydrated and need water. Drink lots of fluids. Best "cure" for flu symptoms. Your body's immune system will kick in and flush the virus out completely within 2-3 weeks and you should stop feeling the symptoms after the first week. You might still be carrying it though. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] The fucked up part is that I work at a hospital and they almost made me get it because they don't want me getting the flu and infecting neutropenic patients and killing them. The thing is, I said fuck you to my boss and didn't get it. OK I didn't say fuck you, but I didn't get it.

If it can help stop the spread then I say its a good thing. Oh and sorry for getting virus and bacteria mixed up.
Every time I get a flu shot, I get the flu days after.
