Here in germany the bike driver would get sued as well for self justice, mostly due to the reasons already stated(driving faster than usual, eventually causing an accident). Not to mention the fines for filming people in public without their awareness. Though that's unlikely to happen, because the people who got filmed would've to claim a fine and they propably didn't even know that they were filmed.
What did all that reckless driving and running red lights accomplish that couldn't be done with the video evidence, the plate number and a call to the police? Other than risking another accident for the sake of making a youtube video I guess
Could have been a stolen car.
One thing I really learned here is that I never ever want to drive in Paris
they are seriously fucking crazy over in France. English drivers are so polite, French drivers - especially Parisians? Dog eat dog, mayn. Was driving round the Arc de Triomphe and it was worse than driving standards in the Middle East, just everyone cutting everyone up. was convinced I was gonna get into a fender bender cause they just cut you up so bad and get so close bumper to bumper. and some cheeky French guy was tailgating me when I was doing 80mph, and I couldn't change lane cause the lanes were full, so to get him away from my ass, I sped up and got flashed by a camera, only to see he'd slowed right the fuck down. either I was trolled, or he didn't mean to purposefully get me flashed by a camera.
Wouldn't just getting the act and license plate on camera be enough? I dont know anything about the laws in France but should a civilian really be breaking the rules of the road just to catch someone?
it's been posted in the thread already: if the car was stolen, the perp could have ditched it and gotten away scot-free.
God damn that place in the video looks like a nightmare to drive in, cars all over the place and some roads don't even have painted lane makings It's giving me a headache just thinking about it
